I keep reading that Archie and lilibet are not real.
Photos are of other peoples children.
But surely the press would know the truth.
I'm sure they will have seen them being taken to school/nursery
even if they didn't take pictures or is it just the nanny taking them.
That was one of the arguments of leaving they would never be able to
take them to school yet William and Catherine can do school drop off
with no publicity unless they announce it. (First day of term)

No, lots of people would know and it would have huge implications for the monarchy. What about her obstetrics team? What about the staff? I certainly wouldn’t have a problem with her having a surrogacy, I nor I think anyone else, haven’t said that. The problem is that it would not be possible to keep it as secret as you seem to think and it would involve the RF in all sorts of trouble if they knew 🤷‍♀️. The logistics of having a surrogate not once, but twice and no one ever letting something slip, make the whole thing improbable

What if you needed to use a surrogate & couldn’t have a baby otherwise in her position? What course of action then?

Keeping up a pretence of pregnancy might just be possible & the consultant they said delivered Archie said he hadn’t.

I agree all very unlike.

I wouldn’t judge her personally for surrogacy & if a route chosen by her (possibly for medical reasons) for one or other child, she’d be compelled to keep quiet for the very good reasons you give & I think very few would need to know & therefore potentially secrets kept. Her friends do use surrogates & it’s far more normalised & common in her circles, Jamie K Lima for one. People are open about this in their world.

It is very unlikely I agree. It’s unfortunate that changing narratives & extreme embellishment causes speculation ‘we got married first’ etc.

I believe the children are real. I’m not sure if they were born ‘of the body’ or via surrogacy but I’m not really bothered either way. Medical information should be private.

I hate that heirs have to be ‘of the body’ and don’t have the same rights to inherit as non-surrogate children. The Marquess of Bath’s second child was born via surrogacy but doesn’t have the right to inherit the title should anything happen to his brother. Similarly, I hate that only boys can inherit titles (and houses if entailed), and that Catholics are barred from the succession too. I would like to see some updates in the law to reflect more modern day practises.

Absolutely time for review.
