Just a warning, the mirror article ( at least for me !) has a prominent video of a very large spider eating a rat or other rodent! That kept popping up as I tried to scroll the article!!

So Harry n Meg have bought a house in Costa Terra Golf, Portugal.

The reviews of this place are bloody awful! Sounds like the locals won’t be a fan of Harry n Meghan either.

Accusations that this development is all about greed, US investors, destroying a nature reserve, access blocked to the public etc

They do have an uncanny knack of doing zero research into anything they do!

I doubt they will ever even go there, there will be a reason they have bought it but it won’t be because they actually want to regularly holiday in Portugal.

Isn't that where Eugenie and family spend a lot of time? I wonder whether Harry is realizing that keeping in contact with family can actually be nice?! It would be much easier to pop over to the UK from there too.

I don't think it's a bad move from Harry's perspective, tbh. It could generate income as a rental and it's a bolthole if things ever go wrong in the US. Perhaps he's listening to advice at last, I hope so.

Yes, there are tabloid stories, but they appear to be entirely free of sourcing. At least one says they’ve contacted the couple for comment, but none received

I can’t see Meghan living in a complex managed by Harry’s cousins’s husband. I think it’s more likely to be Harry’s bolthole. It’s cheap to live in Portugal and he has Eugenie there. I don’t know where the security team would live though or how they would manage security in a complex like that with so many others living there,

There is no belief in sustainable travel. It's all hot air, as usual.

He means sustainable travel for the rest of us, or preferably no travel as why should any of us ever need to go anywhere? Its simply not necessary.

It's different for people like him obviously, his travel is imperative for safety and also to spread his powerful messages and activism around the planet. His work is so important and makes such a difference. I for one would support his private jets from California to Portugal because I know hes doing it for children's mental health and for Africa.

It's the classic example of "1 rule of me and another for thee".

Same as him surfing in a wave pool. Those pools take a phenomenal amount of energy to run. He lives in California - he could have just gone to 1 of the many beaches to surf. Which makes me think this was a paid promo.
