See all these wise posters, lots of what we have said has been ‘confirmed’ by other sources

article in the DM:

One senior Hollywood publicist tells me: 'First of all, everyone industry-wide, EVERYONE reads The Hollywood Reporter. It's really striking that WME did not stop this running.'
She adds: 'WME normally – you would think – would have been threatening and denying access to other stars. Was this done here?

Thats exactly what we all thought! it’s strange how they are letting this stuff out.

As we have all seen in recent days, the dark art of covering up and killing stories- look at Al Fayed and what he got away with. So WME have done nothing???

Also, Harry attending an event in his own because Meghan is sick. No. This is part of separating their ‘brands’- I doubt she will attend any future events like these with Harry.

Seems like the wheels are falling off to me!

Has Hollywood turned on the Sussexes? Industry bigwigs reveal all

Days after a brutal take-down in The Hollywood Reporter, which labelled Meghan as 'Duchess Difficult', neither she nor Harry attended her talent agent's Emmys after party.

William definitely wins in the bone-structure department. (I hasten to add that this is NOT how I judge people - but take that, Harry!)

And facial expressions. Harry always looks so petulant and angry. His expressions are how I imagine Henry VIII's to have been.

William looks far more like Diana which must irritate Harry no end. Maybe that is the reason for the digs 🤷‍♀️

As an aside, I seem to remember that during the crazy where is Catherine threads, a random poster referred to William as a “Greek thug” (in a charming piece of racial profiling 🙄), presumably because of Philip being Prince of Greece. Just shows the level
of ignorance given that Philip wasn’t Greek at all 😆

Prince William is very handsome and always looks well-scrubbed. Regrettably, his brother looks more and more like Rory McGrath and Meghan has taken on the unfortunate appearance of Phteven the Internet Dog (those veneers).

A shame, really.

I think she's had a her veneers done again, in the Jane Pauley interview they seemed wider and whiter than ever.. something was definitely different and it wasn't a good thing. I know that as faces age and lose plumpness, veneers can be left looking too big. Her natural palate is fairly narrow I think, which makes them look odd but they definitely used to look better.

Didn't he also crow that William "no longer" looked like Diana?

I sometimes wonder if all the jealousy from Harry isn't based on William being the heir (and ridiculous nonsense about extra sausages, etc) but something much more visceral/primal around appearance and resemblance and maybe the couple of additional years he had with her due to being born first. One would think his plentiful therapy might have tried to address anything like that, though.

(Harry looks much better without the furious scowl, he should note)

In hindsight, he's obviously built up an enormous amount of resentment over the years as people have always pointed out how much William looks like his mother.
He gleefully commented in Spare that Williams resemblance to their mother had "faded".
Perhaps that's part of the reason why he had such a strong desire to believe he'd found a wife who was so uncannily like his mother in character 🤦‍♀️
Now this fixation has passed to his daughter who apparently is "100% Spencer".

It is possible that he was affected by the tabloid gossip growing up that he wasn't Charles's son. It all seems pathetic nonsense in hindsight but I think back then a lot of tabloid readers believed James Hewitt could be his father, or at least enjoyed speculating about. The speculation went on for years and it must have reached him at school, it must have been awful.

He is like Diana, but I think he also has a bit of a resemblance to the previous Duke of Kent, father of the present Duke and brother of King George VI.

He's got to have heard the pernicious nonsense @Alectoishome and I imagine it would have an effect on anyone, whatever reassurances were given or however many of the Spencers have red hair. Sad that is something that he's had to contend with and nothing but sympathy for it.

It may also have extended to an emotional jealousy as there were reports that Diana used William as an emotional crutch (parentification) where she highly emotionally leant on him divulging and brudening him with inappropriate emotional intimaces.

Maybe PH was jealous of that - when rather he shoudl be relieved to have swerved it. But I suspect she wasn't the grounded mother anyone needed - and he seems to fantasise that she was. She was always distracted with her terrrible marriage, and the fights and sabotage, as well as having numerous sequential affairs (from when PH was 2 yeras old), she had a busy and fractious social life, she sent her sons off to boading school at 7 years old, she was travelling the world ..... not sure there were enough hours in her day for her to solidly nurture her boys (same goes for KC3 - but PH has already said he was lacking as a parent but seems to eulogise Diana - when the evidence is contrary - but this would fit with his problematic black and white rigid thinking - someone has to be cast as either the devil or the saint.

Hughs · 30/09/2024 15:39

It does strike me (in a very armchair psychologist way) that Harry casts Meghan as Diana so that he can have another chance to achieve what he couldn't when he was a child, which was to save his mother from both the royal family and the press.

Rory McGrath always makes me laugh - just his appearance is enough. As well as being a comic actor he's also a keen ornithologist, and wrote a sort of funny autobiography entitled 'Bearded Tit'. I think that name could well be applied to Harry!

Yes - such a handsome man - I think he was Princess Alexandra's father??? I get a bit confused...

It's still trotted out on these threads sometimes, even though Harry clearly resembles both Charles and Philip.

Yes, father of the present Duke of Kent (who succeeded to the title at the age of six), Princess Alexandra and Prince Michael. He was killed in a flying accident in the War while serving with the RAF, when his children were young - Prince Michael was only a few weels old.

Theredfoxfliesatmidnight · 30/09/2024 16:22

I just wish Prince Harry would get a haircut, he just looks like such a scruff at the moment. Unkempt, untidy sweaty looking hair. Being well groomed makes such a difference, it's disrespectful not to be at the kind of events he's attended recently. (Diana awards etc)

Hughs · 30/09/2024 16:27

@CoffeeCantata

Rory McGrath is not a nice person 😬

(Had an affair and then when the OW ended it he harassed her and her husband for over a year, with emails, letters, followed her in the street, turned up at both their workplaces. He ended up with a suspended prison sentence.)
