See all these wise posters, lots of what we have said has been ‘confirmed’ by other sources

article in the DM:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/royals/article-13874743/Harry-Meghan-Hollywood-turns-Sussexes-ALISON-BOSHOFF-venom-schadenfreude.html

https://archive.ph/xgEdv

One senior Hollywood publicist tells me: 'First of all, everyone industry-wide, EVERYONE reads The Hollywood Reporter. It's really striking that WME did not stop this running.'
She adds: 'WME normally – you would think – would have been threatening and denying access to other stars. Was this done here?

Thats exactly what we all thought! it’s strange how they are letting this stuff out.

As we have all seen in recent days, the dark art of covering up and killing stories- look at Al Fayed and what he got away with. So WME have done nothing???

Also, Harry attending an event in his own because Meghan is sick. No. This is part of separating their ‘brands’- I doubt she will attend any future events like these with Harry.

Seems like the wheels are falling off to me!

Has Hollywood turned on the Sussexes? Industry bigwigs reveal all

Days after a brutal take-down in The Hollywood Reporter, which labelled Meghan as 'Duchess Difficult', neither she nor Harry attended her talent agent's Emmys after party.

Err... yeah... and the Hollywood Reporter.

People are not going to speak out openly as you think they should @Triplesec , consider the undoubted NDAs and reputational damage. They are people who need to earn a living (unlike the Montecito Two, if they budgeted a bit better)

Hughs · 29/09/2024 19:57

Are you a regular reader of Evie magazine @Triplesec?

I wonder what Harry's social circle would be like if he moved back - I think a lot of his UK friends were also William's friends, I can't see them being particularly happy to have Harry back, especially those who have seen up close what William has been through this year.

Very few in that sort of set would want to antagonise William. Just by being close to Harry, William wouldn’t trust them .

Serenster · 29/09/2024 20:11

Hughs · 29/09/2024 19:48

Evie magazine? Really? 🤦‍♀️

Even better, Gina Florio, the credited writer, has absolutely no history of royal articles and mostly writes about health and celebrity beauty. Including this pearler:

"Single, childless women may be buying more things at the mall and traveling to various American cities, but at what cost in the long run? The bedrock of any healthy society is the nuclear family, and it's sad to think that we will see fewer and fewer families in the future—which of course means fewer children and happily married couples. Meanwhile, young women in their "prime working years" devote themselves to a career and a boss who doesn't truly care about them, have promiscuous sex that has a negative impact on their mental health, and miss out on the true, lifelong fulfillment that comes with being a wife and mother."

IcedPurple · 29/09/2024 20:39

Yes, Meghan has indeed 'moved on' in the over 2 years since that 'article' from 'Evie magazine' was written.

She has now been accused of being a horrible boss by another set of employees. This time in California. As with the previous time, there has been no denial and no threats of legal action. For reasons which are blindingly obvious.

Anyway, why argue about something which happened years ago? What matters right now is that clearly Hollywood wants nothing to do with Meghan.

I'm unsure why Harry - currently in NYC with a mic in hand, talking about online bullying, hasn't spoken out in defence of his wife?

Why not say these horrible stories are all untrue? Even just 1 comment?

I'd fully expect my husband to defend me publicly if he had a platform to do so.

This is very true.

And is consistent with the suggestion on the other Harry thread. That he might have been the person who leaked the bullying story.

Could he also have wanted that interview to be seen?

Very few in that set would want to antagonise Harry even, and he does seem to have a lot of anger to spread these days. In other words, I think it has gone beyond taking sides and is now a case of not wanting to spend time with an unpleasant oaf (and not having to tolerate him any more so as not to.upset his brother).

Oh my word, that is a doozy.

It does make me chuckle that a poster can be sniffy about the "Daily Fail" one minute and then posts a link to Evie magazine the next 🤦‍♀️

I agree

Twistybranch · 29/09/2024 21:57

In all honesty, with the rapid rate that Harry is losing his hair…….he will genuinely lose a lot of opportunities in the US.

He is always characterised as a young man….hes 40! And soon to be bald. All interest in him will disappear.

I’ve always thought, that if William still had his hair, the whole Harry thing wouldn’t have happened. William was always much more handsome than Harry. Harry only got attention, because he still looked like a young man.

In 2 years, his hair will be like his brothers and finally the press will stop reporting on this idiot

He didn't even have to refer to her directly; something about the damage caused by untrue allegations would have done the job quite well, and the silence seems ominous

He’ll just get a hair transplant!

MrsFinkelstein · 29/09/2024 22:56

He’ll just get a hair transplant!

It's been reported (but never confirmed) that he has had a hair transplant and it failed.

Sprinkle with as much salt as you want

Abouttimeforanamechange · 29/09/2024 23:09

Well if he does, everyone will know it's a transplant, if he suddenly rocks up with a full head of hair after having been increasingly bald. So it seems a bit pointless. Might as well embrace the baldness, as William has done. (And I think it quite suits William.)

coolmum123 · 30/09/2024 11:49

for all we know William might be in touch with him regularly and just not letting it become public

can't see that as a poosibility. Harry has form for giving out details of private conversations first chance he gets

I thought the William looking 'alarmingly bald' comment in the book was such a low blow. It really showed him for the person he is.

Actually that's true, and never mind that it rather spoils my idea that for all we know William could be in regular contact

I suppose it's just possible Harry might keep schtum if the result he was seeking seemed worth it, but even that seems unlikely

I come from a family where lots of the men are/were pretty bald by their mid 20s so never see it as an issue or flaw, but after that unkind comment I truly wish that every follicle would decamp from his head, as he clearly dreads it.

(My darling grandfather claimed his was caused by the tin helmets of WW1. I don't think he even convinced himself with this attempt to equate baldness with heroism)

Looks to me like they are decamping with alacrity! Must be embarrassing for him now, after his comments about his brother.

That is a such lovely annecdote to have of your Grandfather 💛

I just think its attractive when men are smart and well turned out but with no obvious signs of vanity, eyebrows threaded, spray tan, hair transplants, jewellery other than watch and a ring or two. He looks like a normal man, and thats dignified.

I wonder if Harry will adopt more of the LA culture in terms of over-grooming and style, cosmetic procedures etc. Obviously Meghan is no stranger to having work done, I was suprised on the NF doc they showed as much footage as they did of her as a child - showing her original nose, original teeth etc (which were much nicer than what she has now!) Her hair in its natural form was lovely too.

Uricon2 · 30/09/2024 12:54

I think the beard really suits William.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 30/09/2024 13:13

Yes I hope William keeps the beard he really suits it, the light golden tan helps as well.

I thought the William looking 'alarmingly bald' comment in the book was such a low blow. It really showed him for the person he is.

And surely it's obvious that this comment would alienate at least 30% of the population, male and female, since baldness is hardly a rare issue for men? He is so un-self-aware.

It's like sneering at people who've gone a bit grey.
