I really don’t think there is a ‘contest’ other than in the minds of parts of the media. One brother will be King in time and the other brother wants to leave a meaningful legacy in his own right. So far both are doing a great job in carving out their own lives. I hope the brothers come to a point in time where they can be friends again. Life is too short to hold on to anger. The media doesn’t help by embroiling itself in their relationship - or lack thereof currently. I think many people in many countries would love to see a sense of family togetherness again with all of the current King’s grandchildren getting to know one another. It would show how a public facing family can overcome its own difficulties if KCIII could bring both brothers into line again. It’s time to stop painting Harry as the black sheep of the family. It hasn’t worked, it just drives more dissent and anti monarchy feeling in the younger generation. If we are to have a King William and a King George then the younger generation do need to see the institution as worth holding onto. As Harry is clearly active on the world stage harnessing his global appeal would be an advantageous move by the current King.

Yes I did. Others are saying that is not true though as Andrew's lease can not be terminated by Charles.

I don't think anyone is saying that. We're largely saying C wants A to move but A is being stubborn.

C is making aggressive financial moves so it prolly will happen.

@smilesy so Harry and Meghan's lease was ended so that Andrew could voluntarily move into Frogmore Cottage, and Andrew is now refusing?

No!
H&M moved to Cali, and their lease was terminated. For reasons nothing to do with A

At some later date, C&W&K putvtheir thinking caps on (prolly when they were think8ng of schools for the kids) and decided A's place was a good fit.

Terminating H&M's tenancy was not ( necessarily - caveat added because I don't know) linked to A taking it on instead.

I think internationallt people see how racist the Royal family is. At least most people roll their yes here in other rplacea of Europe ir in South America. Also the younger generation is not fan of them. But I suppose older english and right wing people may like them.

Mine are late 20s but, yes, really like William and Kate. Being very close siblings themselves they despise Harry for what he's done. Meghan's been written off as "tasteless".
I also went to a wedding of 20somethings not long after the late queen died. They included "God Save the King!" in the toasts and it was very enthusiastically received.

This is the usual ageist rubbish that H&M's fans come out with.
I've actually seen posts on here saying that it doesn't matter what "royalists" (anyone who doesn't think H&M are wonderful) think because they'll all be dead soon.
(No, I can't provide links as most/all of them were deleted.
Please don't ask as a refusal often offends Smile)

Even more incomprehensibly than usual.
Really couldn't make sense of:
