Kensington Palace have confirmed that Princess Catherine will be attending the Wimbledon Men’s Single Final on Sunday.

On the thread that Firm also posted under a different name (something Billy related) Firm says the sockpuppeting was unitentional but she got a tap on the shoulder from the mods anyway, another poster (La Marschallin) proposed 'popsockette' as a good a name and Firm/Billy popped back up as Popsockette with a hat tip to the google skills of this board - which I think relates back to when Firm/Billy/Pop made a post that was a direct lift from celebitchy but passed it off as their own.

So Firm/Billy/Pop seem to still be struggling with the tricky tech of changing back to the name they initially used on a thread - perhaps there should be a 'learner' area on MN where you can upskill your keyboard skills.

But on the other thread that was apparently an accident. On this thread, it has to be deliberate, doesn't it? They have to have deliberately used 2 different names on this thread in order to have forgotten to change back to the original name they used. You have to go into the username box and deliberately change your name. And why keep using the same couple of names if you want to sock puppet and everyone knows you're doing it? It feels like a show of superior rights against those who have to follow MN rules or risk deletions and bans. Make it make sense!

Funnily enough I've seen that used somewhere else in the exact same context today.
