Inspired by @Ladypenelopeforever ‘s post.

I find that William is photogenic and this is one of the best photos (albeit not candid) of him in a while.

What do you see? For me, I see humour about his lips and the faraway look in his eyes has a touch of sadness. Overall, the Prince has gravitas, he does not need the red folder to signal that. There is also a reddish blush to his skin. Either he caught the sun during the D Day commemoration or he is blushing for some reason

Let us see if we can keep comments positive, friendly and on topic this time. One can hope. 🙏

Are we sure it’s genuine? His head looks a bit too big for his neck, if you look closely. Might have been photoshopped onto some other bloke in a suit sitting on a train.

Oh now you’ve said that I can’t unsee it. He looks like a nodding dog!

IAmNotASheep · 13/06/2024 16:13

What does that look like.

The guy sitting on the train, who will never have to worry about paying bills or feeding his children.
The guy on the train who has never gone cold or hungry, and never will.
I could go on and on.
Does that clarify things for you?

@Hallamlass "Harry and Meghan in a nutshell"

<shrugs> They are all exactly the same in my opinion. It baffles me that people differentiate them.

I think you need to unclench.

Fawning royalists get a shock when they step outside of their brigaded tramlines of lauding Camilla as some sort of icon for women rather than the OW done good.

He looks like Diana but without the benefit of hair, make up and dresses to elevate his looks from the bog standard to the slightly above average. He looks inoffensive, pleasant enough, but weak in a never done a day's hard graft, soft handed zero ability to look after himself kind of way. I see no gravitas. He does look sad around the eyes though, and would look better with his head shaved.

Funniest post on MN EVER ! I hope it doesn't catch on !

What has Camilla got to do with people with alopecia or this discussion at all?

I do wonder why people who constantly criticise the royals fawn over this pair.

notprincehamlet · 13/06/2024 20:39

He looks like he's practising his banknote face

CathyorClaire · 13/06/2024 20:54

if we want to get rid of them we can

We can't. There is no political party offering even a referendum on the continuation of the monarchy let alone a proposal to abolish.

They however could do the decent thing and walk away. Overwhelmingly they don't. And for the still millstone-on-public-funds Harold cheerleaders - even he hasn't retracted reports he supports the institution. Indeed accumulating reports suggest he wants back in.

Mumof2girls2121 · 13/06/2024 21:20

He looks like any other overly privileged man

You sound like Jilly Goolden reviewing a bottle of wine.

That's exactly who I could hear in my head when I read the post. 😆

Jennybeans401 · 13/06/2024 21:28

Bald but proud. I actually think he's quite attractive in a posh chap sort of a way.

MsFogi · 13/06/2024 21:28

Have you been trying out an AI writing tool OP?

mathanxiety · 13/06/2024 21:39

I've said it before and I'll say it again, but that man badly needs to grow a beard.

PoopingAllTheWay · 13/06/2024 21:49

His wife and father have cancer

He has alot on his mind!!!!

I see the smile of every child in his eyes. I see thoughts of world peace. Mercury is in retrograde and you can tell from his hat. He's on his way back from receiving his folder on This is Your Life.

🤣 Brilliant!

Chocoloca · 13/06/2024 22:03

LaMarschallin · 13/06/2024 08:03

I presume he's just not that bothered about losing his hair - after all, both he and Kate have joked about it in public.
I find that attitude far more attractive than trying out hair plugs and/or drugs which may or may not work.
For the PP who was wondering about first class on the train, it's not that special. I used to occasionally take my DDs on 1st for a shopping trip and they used to get excited about the free snacks and 1st class lounge. But they were little girls then and easily impressed.
I'm sure nobody would mind if you pressed your nose to the window to have a gander Smile

Nothing wrong in hair plugs or other ways to keep the hair, like there is nothing wrong with accepting hair loss.

Chocoloca · 13/06/2024 22:11

LadyKenya · 13/06/2024 09:21

Yes, the same could be said for the people constantly sniping about Harry!

But this post is not about Harry. If you don't like people unnecessarily critising Harry, then you should have problem with people criticising William for his hair loss but you are doing whataboutery.

shudders
i hate beards! No man on earth looks good with a beard! (imho)

notprincehamlet · 13/06/2024 22:35

He has the expression of a man who knows he can have Pringles and a Kit Kat from life's refreshment trolley

Chocoloca · 13/06/2024 22:56

CurlewKate · 13/06/2024 18:44

Incidentally, for those of us old enough to remember, there was about 10 minutes when William was very good looking. Blink and you would have missed it, though.

Who cares, he was good looking or not. It's just mean to make fun of someone balding. Surprised that this is a forum for grown ups and majority of users are mothers.

Redpaisely · 13/06/2024 23:02

Dibbydoos · 13/06/2024 18:57

Much prefer Harry's real humour in his eyes! Sorry but William is know to have a bad temper and I can see it in this picture in the flush...

Awful how such a big responsibility placed on a young person ages them so fast.

William is known for his bad temper. Source is his brother. Also how can you see the temper in this photo?

StaunchMomma · 14/06/2024 00:18

I see a husband, Dad and Aston Villa fan.

Apart from that I couldn't give a shit.

Not really
How do you ‘see’ that.

Its a man on a train in a suit, how do you see privilege.
