That's not quite true, is it? Harriman has submitted it to the NPG. They get a lot of submissions. They have yet to evaluate, catalogue it and decide whether or not it will go on display.

The picture has been accepted as being the third portrait of Misan’s which will be part of the permanent collection at the NPG. They have already decided.

So, Harriman submitted it, the NPG evaluated it, catalogued and put it on display?

Interesting. According to their current catalogue the NPG have two portraits by Harriman - one of Marcus Rashford and one of Rashford and Adwoa Aboa.

It doesn't mean to say that they won't accept the one of H&M, but it may still be under consideration.

Because the artist is Misan and because the subjects are H&M - instead of understanding time as a factor - we have what is happening here. Ok. You do you.

(Having said that, if you look at the link DelectableMe posted it indicates that one of the portraits by Misan Harrison of Marcus Rashford is on display, with a green dot, and the location in the gallery given. so, in due course, when the collection is updated with the image of Meghan and Harry, you’ll also be able to see if it’s on display).

I had a look because I thought it was interesting that the NPG selected that picture, and not - say- the other one upthread.
I have said that it may well be in the gallery, but looking at the NPG it doesn't look credited at the moment.

There are portraits of H&M currently at the gallery. It's not about that. We shall maybe be able to visit and enjoy the Harriman one in due course.

Just pointing out that nothing happens in a vacuum. Because Kate’s the Patron of the National Portrait Gallery, we also have the Sussex Squad tweeting and posting that this is delicious, and that Kate will be wailing, gnashing her teeth, crying and vomiting over a portrait of Meghan and Harry being on display at the NPG. Just like the one tiny example below.

That's exactly what's happened and it's really so silly. It could be in a gallery, it may not, but really it doesn't indicate too much either way!

Folks, of all the pathetic sour grapes comments of the day about how the photo has been acquired but not really as they have no plans to ever display it, it being a photo of sad losers Harry and Meghan who as we all know are trading on their titles and are money-obsessed attention seekers who are out to make Ps on the royal family’s back and and and (the usual f-ing tedious BS)…. That’s not a grammar problem. It’s a legitimate spelling mistake.

Autocorrect often changes “you’re”to “your” if you slightly mis type it. Often you don’t notice when it happens. I think the poster pointed this out. So possibly you were being a bit picky
