I really hope the men in grey suits put pressure on Netflix to delete all film of them with Save the Children.
But then that could also be spun as harming the charity/the individuals who were probably excited to meet with them.

What if W&K met with Invictus?

Oh @MummyJ12 !!
I don't know why but that has really shocked me!!
So are we saying he basically brought in supporters to cheer for him?!

Rent a crowd or you get your balls electrocuted.

They are just tone deaf. They egg each other on. They are a laughing stock and are harming their future capabilities unless in countries where they are seen as easy prey.

BemusedAmerican · 16/05/2024 14:36

I think W should meet with Invictus. Birmingham is pitching itself as a game site. There is no reason the Prince of Wales, especially since he just received a new military title, can't sound out veterans of his own country about a game site in their own country.

AliceOlive · 16/05/2024 14:39

I can’t even imagine the gnashing of teeth if he did any such thing!

peanutbuttertoasty · 16/05/2024 14:39

God they really are the relatives from hell!

I can't see anyone here actually saying this!
So perhaps you should take more care when reading posts!
Or perhaps you did!

No. Absolutely not.

But only if their intentions were pure and true and it was to benefit the charity concerned.

Given past behaviour can we honestly be 100% sure that is the case? An act purely out of the goodness of their hearts? Or could it just be a ‘look what we are doing’ spiteful act?

Only they will know.

They could have met with African Parks representatives. Did they?

TheTallestSally · 16/05/2024 14:46

Tlolljs · 16/05/2024 14:25

The Princess Royal is a bit more than ‘associated with’ she’s been their patron since 1970.

I know. And a fabulous patron she has been too.

The thing is, they have no history with Save the Children and the Princess Royal’s association is long standing and well known. So it does seem a bit of a strange choice 🤷‍♀️

AliceOlive · 16/05/2024 14:47

Didn’t their folks go a little batshit over W&K stepping foot in the US?

BemusedAmerican · 16/05/2024 14:47

No, they haven't even mentioned African Parks.

TheTallestSally · 16/05/2024 14:48

I can’t say I’m surprised bemused

jeffgoldblum · 16/05/2024 14:50

A tumble weed as @MummyJ12 giff earlier depicted!
It's not just not mentioned but seemingly forgotten!
To me personally, it seems only powerful and rich are lauded and recognised !

But they own jam? The sS went mad in IG because Highgrove promoted a product they’ve been making for decades, on a page where they regularly promote their products.

I don’t think it is a slight at all. Just think it makes them look silly, cosplaying a royal tour. They don’t have much $ to offer and they were there to promote Invictus. They need to get a hold of their own branding.

It looks like there is an investigation now into the funding for their trip, too.

No, I won’t do that to you. I have had the same done to me. It’s just a way to ignore the point.

But I do think this was a silly choice.

MummyJ12 · 16/05/2024 14:58

Here’s a screenshot of an interesting couple of tweets (from the squaddie above).
Proof that the Sussex Squad are funded but it also looks like Kensington Palace was possibly trying to negotiate with them back in March (to get to the root of the squad problem and put an end to the conspiracy theories presumably).
