Watching them prance about in Nigeria dressed as though they’re attending a red carpet event, lapping up the attention is genuinely one of the cringiest things I’ve ever seen.
Oh, I agree - it's awful, Green.
I don't know what's wrong with people.
Two annoying, lightweight, vain, self-aggrandising, superficial, ego-maniacal, materialistic, pompous, smug, mediocrely-talented not-quite-celebrities go to an African country on a pretext, getting paid massively to do so, and prance about in fancy outfits, with complete disregard for local culture and customs, grinning all the while.
Meghan wore some highly inappropriate clothes for a conservative, mostly Muslim country - including a big cross necklace. Does she know anything about Nigeria? Does she care? I think that woman has the skin of a rhinoceros.
They did a lot of the things W & C were criticised for on one of their tours, but their fans are OK with that.
I saw no evidence that they really connected with anyone, either H in the hospital ward, or Meghan on one of her beloved platforms, holding a mic and preaching. And when she's finished...can anyone explain the substance of what she said?
God, it's depressing that people give them so much credit. It's beyond cringe for anyone with any perception, sensitivity, historical knowledge or taste.
But yes, let's salivate over her shoes and try to find a 'dupe' for her dress. I think all these people have been duped, actually.
