Urgh. I honestly wish the news would stop reporting on him.

I guess his routing back from Nigeria will be via London, so could possibly meet the King then, probably with Meghan in tow and with the kids and nannies meeting them in the UK.

Unless the return to USA from Nigeria is via private jet, which would not be surprising as they seem to fly private whenever they fly together.

It's not that long ago that Harry, then Meghan and Harry, were feted, then the media turned against them. People forget how good they were. I would be glad to see him or them back here from time to time, at least they are not stuffed shirts. They haven't actually done anything wrong.

But they won’t come back because they are apparently not safe here. Unlike in Nigeria 🙄

Respectfully, I have to say I disagree with this. That Oprah interview in particular had the potential to be hugely damaging to Britain’s reputation on the world stage, and I believe it very briefly was. Thankfully the tide turned pretty soon as they themselves contradicted their own claims shortly after, and reasonable people questioned the moral fibre and soundness of judgement of so publicly going after your own family when your grandmother, a much respected public figure who had dedicated her life to service, was dealing with the illness and deterioration of her husband.

@DrJoanAllenby and he isnt even getting to see king charles! to be honest why would charles really want to see him anyway after everything harry has done?

I will never forget waking up the morning after the OW interview and finding 'Prince Phillip is a racist' trending on Twitter. At that time, he was in hospital and obviously died shortly afterwards. Imagine being responsible for your grandfather and extended family having to deal with that and not feeling you should apologise.

A UK media blackout on these two would help. We don't need endless speculation about the RF.

A private jet from Nigeria to California would be horribly expensive. A hundred grand, and probably considerably more. Who is going to pay for such an unnecessary extravagance? And what would Travalyst say?

Even A listers, which they are not, usually fly commercial on such long routes. In first or business class, of course.

Eugh. It's so annoying that the news keep reporting on him and then people read it and then they share it on Mumsnet and then other people comment on it saying how they wish the media would stop reporting it and then it starts trending and then I read it and then I comment on it. Does my head in.

I didn't think the King would see him - not doing so shows demonstrated publicly they aren't connected to RF and as they are off to Nigeria afterwards probably helps to have that unscored - they don't represent the UK or RF.

I think behind the scene reconciliation if any will be after a period of prolonged quiet from the Sussexes and when RF has not got members undergoing medical treatment.

@allthemiddlechildrenoftheworld - I don't see it any time soon - but perhaps if they need cash in future and it comes with strings or when kids are teens and they want/need RF connections for them.

If your close family member and their new partner, whom you'd paid to have a £30 million wedding went on international TV and called you racist, how would you feel? Would that be OK?

Especially as their complaints all turned out to be based on misunderstandings on their part, and all were later retracted? Would you be able to 'move on'? I know I wouldn't!

But my main objection to these 2 charmers is that one is dim and a grumpy sod and the other is a manipulative narcissist. Other than that, they're fine! 😀
