No.

H wins the racist stakes.

That is one crown H is very much entitled to mylovely.

Edited due to being too slow to post.

Good on Harry. I wouldn't want to see any of them either. I bet he can't wait to return to his beautiful, young family.

He can! His "beautiful, young family" will be on the other side of the world when he is poncing around in Nigeria...

Harry said he wanted to spend time with his family. I am sure they don't want to see him!

Have I missed something that we're in a giant huff with Nigeria?

Why would we distance ourselves from Harry representing Britain there ?

It's the Invictus games - sure, it's all his but not because it's 'dodgy' in some way Confused?

Because he is not representing Britain!

mythbuster88 · 07/05/2024 19:36

Oh, of course. I forgot about the level of access you and others on these threads have to these individuals. I guess if you say something for long enough, it becomes 'a' reality.

Oh do keep up - people don't need any "level of access" - it's all in the public domain!

Dabralor · 07/05/2024 20:14

Great - another tedious harry thread.

You do realise it's coming up for 4 years since that bloody Oprah interview? There are literal war crimes going on round the world and yet a ginger man who moved to America is the thing that gets your goat.

Mylovelygreendress · 07/05/2024 20:10

Today, Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles 111 will hand over Harry’s role as Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps to older brother Prince William.
Ouch.

There’s a proper Aviation award.

Are you aware you can hide it?

Wasn't this announced last August?

43percentClaw · 07/05/2024 20:17

Why would we distance ourselves from Harry representing Britain there ?

He is representing Invictus.

Which, the last time I looked, was not Britain.

43percentClaw · 07/05/2024 20:18

Yes icedpurple

The official handover is imminent.

The last time I looked, Harry was British.

So is Simon from Basingstoke officially representing Britain on his all inclusive in Ibiza?

43percentClaw · 07/05/2024 20:22

He is British yes.

He isn’t representing Britain in Nigeria though.

But only a few months since his gossip book and tacky Kardashian style reality show.

You do know it's possible to care about 'literal war crimes going on round the world' and snigger at snubbed Harry don't you?

It's sad when two people meet and do nothing but bring the absolute worst out in one another. Both are headstrong, entitled, over privileged and don't have the ability to be accountable to themselves or anyone us. They're a toxic combination and sadly have now isolated themselves from both families so are free from positive influences and just surround themselves with a revolving door of Yes men.

I understand why they wanted to be out of the goldfish bowl of royal life but how they've behaved since doing so is inexcusable.

Lookingatthesunset · 07/05/2024 20:31

43percentClaw · 07/05/2024 20:22

Does he know that?!

@IcedPurple Harry has been in that role though. Simon hasn't.

Yes and I bet his family are dreading him blundering into Nigeria with no self awareness, no common sense, seemingly no knowledge of local security issues and thinking his Prince title will keep him safe. Deluded as ever.

But he isn’t now. So he isn’t representing the UK in any official capacity whatsoever as the British Ambassador’s statement linked elsewhere made clear

Lol. I read that as “hangover” the first time 😆

CurlewKate · 07/05/2024 20:39

@Mylovelygreendress "
As big a racist as Harry ?"

No idea how racist Harry is. But Philip was utterly appalling all his life. Whenever he gets praised for his "ubspoken-ness" it's usually code for racist.

Lookingatthesunset · 07/05/2024 20:31

That's the problem.

Harry still seems to think he is a working royal when it suits him. Just look at the ridiculous 'Office of the Duke and Duchess' website. So for him to go on a jolly to a very sensitive Commonwealth nation is dodgy. Of course, everyone who counts will know he has no official status, but the blurring of lines is not good. The rather strange 'announcement' even referred to him as HRH, even though according to the Sandringham Agreement he was supposed to have 'agreed' not to use that style.

No idea?

Despite him notoriously referring to a very capable colleague as 'our little P*ki friend' and telling another he 'looked like a raghead'?

No idea at all?

43percentClaw · 07/05/2024 20:43

I should imagine H doesn’t realise anything given he is as cognisant as a balloon. 🤷🏽‍♀️

If we have to state the obvious -

This is an egg 🥚

This is a cat 🐈‍⬛

This is a tree 🌳

This is a plane ✈️

This is a flower 🌷
