Can this be true? That Harry and Meghan are off on a “royal” trip to Nigeria? What’s the game now? My head is spinning!

Do the IG publish full accounts?

Invictus is a UK registered charity, so their accounts should be audited and published. Depends how much you can hide under 'promotional activities' I suppose.

They might possibly pay Harry's expenses on a promotional trip, but no way should they pay Meghan's. She has no official role in Invictus.

I would too but I am sick to death of it being used as a coverall. You shouldn't be given a 'get out of jail' card for being horrible, because a person's choice to be horrible is not linked in any way to their race!

That dress is downright horrible, and I can't believe it's backless! The colour is awful and it's far too long. I wonder who's going to admit responsibility for that horror?

It's all part of the grift. She wouldn't be doing any of it if she weren't getting paid or "paid". She wouldn't even shell out for hemming (or perhaps she has to return the dress, or put it on eBay (lots of celebrities do this)).

The ugly stacked seams on the dress don't work on photos at all! Wonder who picked it and why they didn't do a test shoot first? It probably looks great in real life with movement but on pictures, some of the seams make the dress look like it's been glitched, cut in half or resembling jpg artefacts on a very low-res images.

The color is horrible, too.

Dunno about cost but that dress is hideous on her, it's inappropriate for a school visit, and is way too long, creased too. If I were a designer, I'd pay her NOT to wear my stuff. And they are spouting tosh.

To top it off, her makeup is dreadful, it's bordering on orange and barely blended, her face is about 5 shades darker than the rest of her.

How bitter and bored do you have to be to spend every day of your life reviewing and commenting on the lives of two individuals who neither know you exist nor seem to care? For all the comment, what is actually achieved? This royal couple are still married (despite your hopes), still self-funded, and have governments and organisations falling over themselves to work and engage/support them. You wish they were failing, but they are not – despite the stories you invent. Wouldn’t life be that little bit more bearable if those that took every opportunity (and created many more) to critique this royal couple and their wardrobe spent their time investing in real relationships. I suspect if H&M actually were aware of your existence, they may well express pity more than anything else. How did the MN founder describe the behaviour?...
On a side note, why not also post a genuine picture of yourselves wearing your Friday best alongside Meghan for comparison. Surely all you stunners should be seen. No?

Exactly. The suggestion that only POC can judge the behaviour of POC is ridiculous, and I say that as a POC.

Yes, racism means that POC can get held to a higher standard of behaviour than white people for the same behaviour.

But that doesn't mean POC are above criticism if they behave badly. Which is the case here, especially as Harry - the ultimate in white, male, wealthy, upper class privilege - is also getting the same criticism.

I think the colour is fine in itself, it’s just not right for her skin tone, at least not as a solid block of colour. Shame she couldn’t arrange to wear something created by a local designer, but maybe that’s to come. Otherwise, it’s going to look like a typical Meghan merching visit. The least they could do is wear some Invictus branded gear, as that’s the supposed purpose of the trip.

that sounds exactly l like the sort of patronising and hypocritical preaching both harry and Meghan like to indulge in. Equally rooted in fantasy rather than fact, too.

A tad too heavy handed with the bronzer which is made all the more obvious by the skimpy frock revealing a significantly paler torso and arms.

I would live to know what the experts on their NF series talking about the RF's historical connections with slavery, and the Commonwealth as Empire 2.0 (both valid points, but irrelevant to H&M's flounce), think about their Nigeria visit!

I don’t think he misses the job, because he didn’t look that happy when he was at St Paul’s on his own. He look reasonably happy at the Scottie’s Little Soldiers’ children’s party but it didn’t seem entirely wholehearted, more like going through the motions for their benefit.

He only seems really happy to me when he has his wife beside him. And she’s only really happy when she’s in the limelight and/or spending, so that’s his life now.

I think he always looks much happier away from his wife. He often seems tense and uptight when she's around.
