Couldn't resist opening it with this from the last thread 😁

Ah, the cognitive dissonance is strong with that one.

FlouncetteLaFroth · 01/05/2024 15:20

H&M are not responsible for the people doing this in their name.

They are, however, responsible for their silence. And responsible for not condemning it.

MummyJ12 · 01/05/2024 15:26

Not only are they not distancing themselves or condemning the actions of the Sussex Squad, they thank them for their support publicly.

That poor company. Absolutely disgusting.

BoohooWoohoo · 01/05/2024 15:33

i wouldn’t have numbered them as there will always be those who will speculate a/ who got the other numbers or b/ who snubbed it.

I think it’s to prevent anyone from making a profit and selling their jar to a tabloid like the Daily Mail and to track how much coverage each jamfluencer gets for future freebies.

MummyJ12 · 01/05/2024 15:43

Pretty much what @BoohooWoohoo posted. Apparently, (so I’ve read), every recipient has had to agree not to sell the jam on or give the jam to someone else. They’re numbered so if this happened, it’s traceable.
The deal was also to mention the jam on social media but it seems that some have put more effort into this than others!

BemusedAmerican · 01/05/2024 15:43

I just placed a large order from Small Jam Co as a Mother's Day present. Flavors are selling out so I suspect they are getting sympathy purchases.

BoohooWoohoo · 01/05/2024 15:45

I wonder if everyone was given a date to post on too?

Judging by the number of overseas donors who contributed to the JustGiving thread, I wouldn't be surprised. And I really hope so.

The Sussex Squad should remember that Karma is a bitch AND she likes ravens and crows ( aka the birds of battle). Look at the Small Jam Company logo.

No comments about 'haters' and 'vitriol' from the usual suspects on here, I see.

Considering how many statements Harry has made about toxic content on social media, he should be speaking out. If he has no power over his fan club then how would social media sites have power over the whole world ?

That image really evokes an elite, sophisticated brand, doesn't it?

😂

Not a word about the recent vile treatment of Kate and William.
I'm disappointed neither of them said anything, coming at a time just after Meghan spoke out about her own experience of internet hounding.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 01/05/2024 16:27

How are the Sewer Squad allowed to get away with all their threats and intimidation? Why have the law authorities not investigated them? If you misgender someone online you can get a knock at your door from the police so how can they get away with literally threatening people?

BemusedAmerican · 01/05/2024 16:58

Based on the comments on the Dan Wootton site, there are allegations that two houses were burned by the SS. The location of the Small Jam Co. Is on their website. If they file a complaint, who knows what will happen to the physical business.

LadyWhineglass · 01/05/2024 17:50

The world has gone mad.

ZellyFitzgerald · 01/05/2024 18:14

Every photo I see of someone eating jam just makes me not want to buy/eat jam anymore. So unappetising.

The most recent picture is particularly bad, it just doesn't scream luxury at all. Also the counter top looks filthy but that might just be the pattern on it.

Runnerinthenight · 01/05/2024 19:27

Well boys, see you are having a little bread with your jam!

EmpressOfTheThread · 01/05/2024 20:09

Those children eating it remind me of those pictures of evacuees being given their first meal with the host families after escaping the Blitz.

Mummyoflittledragon · 01/05/2024 03:19

Another ‘jamfluencer’. The article lists the ‘celebs’ so far, who’ve posted on social media. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13365535/meghan-markle-american-jam-gifts-friend-heather-dorak.html

I wonder how Meghan decided to distribute the jam and in which order. This is her Pilates instructor. She got number 7.

Do we think kids chowing down on gooey doorsteps was the look Ma'am intended?

I'm still waiting for long time bestie and Maid of Honour in the spectacle for the peasants world Lindsay Roth

shenandoahvalley · 01/05/2024 21:45

The pic of the two random (to the internet) kids eating toast and incidental (in the photo) jam jar, is really at odds with the posed pic of a planter with lemons around a jam jar posted by Kris Jenner, both of which are at odds with the idea of totally mundane strawberry jam which, itself, has a random brand name and which comes, randomly, in numbered pots. There’s no coherent link between any of the elements, other than straight up pumping whoever you know for free advertising.

ladybirdsanchez · 28/04/2024 17:01

I just found a video on YouTube talking about Adele and Kevin Costner supposedly returning Meghan's jam and I didn't realise that all 50 jars supposedly got sent out at the same time, but only a handful of people have publicly acknowledged them. That makes sense now .... The whole thing is really rather pathetic tbh. Did she grow the strawberries? Does anyone honestly believe she MADE the jam?

Maybe she's selling a range of jam jars for a new kitchen range, and that's the product, that it was never jam that was going to be sold at all.
Now sat laughing at all the fascination and furore over the jam.
With a side of bewilderment and mirth that she doesn't even have to sell one jar of jam to get people suddenly going bonkers for the Kings, and other companies.
Now that'd be pretty funny

ShamedBySiri · 01/05/2024 22:51

You couldn't make it up.
It seems the filming location is a smelly cannabis farm! Shock

I guess we won't get a cameo of Harry juggling outside the window. He'll be slumped underneath it with a spliff.
