The point @GoodAfternoonGoodEveningAndGoodnight is that I don't NEED to know them to know what sleb-world is like. Kris Jenner, whether we like it or not, is an extremely powerful and successful player and MM, who isn't, needs powerful allies like her. Have you noticed how no one is falling over themselves to work with H&M? They're tarnished by their relentless negativity, their criticising of the RF, their lack of success since arriving in CA four years ago. They've been lampooned in South Park, called 'fucking grifters' by the Spotify guy. They're damaged goods who are touting around desperately for some way to make a success and make money. So an ally like Kris Jenner could be useful. Her support was muted. She posted a pic of the jam and said Thank You, but she wasn't in the photo. Her personal assistant probably posted it. I don't suppose KJ gets involved in such menial stuff these days.

Well, that's just opinion isn't it.
As I said upthread, we all see things differently.
I see someone who apparently had a lifestyle type blog before marrying into the Royal Family and then had to give it up, and now she's got a chance to start that part of her life back up again.
Good on her.
There's clearly plenty of interest in it, whether that's negative or positive interest.
Stands to reason she'll want to promote it and make it successful.

I think that's definitely her wheelhouse. Clothes, baking, whatever. Certainly not having an official royal career that required social skills, energy and commitment.

£25,000 is extraordinary. huge thank-you again to every single person who donated from around the commonwealth and across the globe. fantastic to see the king is returning to public duties, and continued love and best wishes to the princess of wales. x p.s. anyone who wanted some splendid PR by doubling to £50k is more than welcome. :)

'Curating friends.' How horrible. What an unpleasant way of viewing human interaction.

One of Meghan's (many) PR problems is that some people consider she seems to be incapable of actual, genuine relationships. She comes across as only making connections with others for her own social and financial advancement, including her marriage. I wish all the best to any PR person trying to turn that view around.
