Has 'hate watching' made any Netflix show into a ratings success? If so, which ones?

That would mean she would have to put in a day's work and that isn't high on Meghan's agenda!

Exactly. The hate vloggers watch it, because then they make money vlogging about it to the far larger numbers of people who can't be arsed to hate watch the original, but are quite happy to have a laugh listening to the vlogger's take on it, and see the amusing clips without having to wade through the whole turgid thing.

There's an awful lot of projection and assumptions going on when nobody really knows them at all apart from what they have been told by opinion pieces in the media etc.

You could well be right, but then that's why I suggestedf this kind of notoriety might be a Plan B for when everything else has failed

@Tlolljs it's been widely said that Philip wanted the presentation of debutantes at court to end and rather unpleasantly remarked "every tart in London was getting in on the act", so yes - what he'd have said about that lot doesn't bear thinking about

I think they imagined deals like Spotify and Netflix to continue indefinitely and thought that people like the Obamas would be desperate to be their friends.

I agree that the Kardashian Jenners have friends for business reasons. While I can’t see the Sussexes on the Kardashian-Jenner reality show, it wouldn’t surprise me if Kris is trying to work out if they can make money from the Sussexes some other way.

It's a bit like the saying, 'Countries don't have allies. They have interests'.

So too the likes of the Kardashian Jenners don't have friends, they have 'mutually beneficial acquaintances'.
