If you were launching an aspirational, high end brand, are these the people you'd choose to be associated with?

And I don't think these people are B list. They are C list at best.

From the article. I haven't a clue who any of the people who are "in" are - well the wife of the polo player has been discussed a bit in recent weeks what with Harry and her husband playing polo together but that's the only one.

I don't know who everyone on the out list is either but some seem higher up the social scale for a social climber curating their social circle. I suspect if there ever was friendship with the Beckhams it is they who have trimmed their friendship group, not the other way around.

Jumping off this from @BemusedAmerican a few pages back, I’d actually watch this. Not particularly interested in Meghan’s cooking or the inside of some random house she’s hired as a set to film herself pushing some flaccid courgettes around a griddle- what’s the point when clips and screengrabs will appear all over the internet? But robust discussion between her and a new CEO? Oh good god yes. I could imagine a mix between Real Housewives and Welcome to Wrexham, a perfectionist creative going head to head with an experienced businessperson who deals in numbers and practicalities over the future of the former’s vision.

But it’ll never happen. Meghan is too aware of the optics of even fluffed up conflict, particularly within the context of the revived bullying rumours. So instead we’ll get a showcase of her wearing a series of beige outfits in a beige kitchen, showing off her beige branded products. Thinking of the recent culinary shows that have done well (Stanley Tucci in Italy, Anthony Bourdain, anything Netflix have released within the last ten years, etc etc etc), they’re all showcasing different parts of a region or the world, talking to different chefs, explaining the context of why different flavours or dishes are popular, bit of local history, local favourites and so on. It seems really bloody weird that she’s just like “nah, they can come to me”. Unless she’s got some stellar guests lined up it’s probably going to get very samey very quickly.

Or they could have made a Netflix programme like The Apprentice where the prize was becoming CEO of ARO. The Daily Mail would promote this programme like crazy, especially if the judges were the Sussexes.

I'm surprised Nacho published this photo. For a handsome and very image conscious guy to publish a close up of him biting into a jam sandwich? The nasty looking cheese and random strawberries aren't exactly adding up to a sophisticated image either.

They aren't strawberries, they are raspberries. (I know - it's strawberry jam 🤷🏼‍♀️)

If Netflix was smart, they would treat it as a comedy. Meghan fighting with the CEO, the disgruntled employees plotting to unionize, Harry being clueless cut in with food segments. Meghan showing everyone how to make gourmet microwave popcorn, gourmet Smores, etc.

I'm wondering if there's some weird polo swingers in joke about "strawberry jam" being played out, much like "roast chicken".

I see that old and overused phrase on here pre the Kate debacle has made a return “none of us know”.

None of us know anything about the verbally incontinent Sussexes who lay their dreary lives out for all to see; but the same people who say this apparently know everything there is to know regarding (wholly unsubstantiated) claims about private lives of the RF and their unstated attitudes on all manner of things.
