Another PR guy! They have a very big team for a pair of celebrities like them. It must cost a lot.

Why do they need a UK guy? I understood they’d fled from the UK and are living perfectly happy successful lives in Montecito without a backward glance - right?

Wrong. They need to get more positive stories in the UK.

I think in a vain attempt at trying to stem the negative coverage they get over here- they decided to put Haribo man in charge….

But, I just get a gut feeling US new PR guy is going to be a nightmare for them. He seems super right on and we all know these two just pay lip service to all that. Hence why most of their employees are white and straight. So think he will def put pressure on them that I don’t think they’ll like it

I do feel for the guy, his CV is already being mocked, which is shit really, of course none of that would happen if they didn't make big fanfare announcements about their new hires.

Meghan wants to address her unpopularity problem in the UK?
Perhaps she needs to reflect on why that happened. She won't, though.

I thought they were done with the U.K. ? According to Sussex supporters , Meghan will never set foot here again so why does it matter if she is unpopular here ?

They need to stop all the negativity and bad press in the UK because it impacts what they do in the US. The bulk of the negativity is of UK origin, they don’t appear in the news here in the US except when something happens (eg the near catastrophic car chase). News, Twitter and the internet are global and they need to get that negativity stemmed. Also, I suspect Harry wants a better British press because he will want to be there and take his children there himself, although obviously he’s got the security issue too.

You're right, @shenandoahvalley . They do need better press in the UK.

Are these new hires under the Archewell charity? if so, it just stinks. I still do not know if they are popular in the US it all seems hit and miss and appearances carefully scheduled to have any true insight of popularity.

I really don't think that's the case any more.

They don't do anything here, and so the UK press is commenting on US events, usually a bit after US press has done so.

The only remaining UK questions are his London-based court cases and whether/when he visits. I expect there will be UK originated stuff next month (Invictus)
