No, ADD would only explain why she never seems to follow through or stick with anything. Not the other behaviors.

You can learn to overcome it, though and complete processes.
I just think that sometimes these labels don't help people and create too much leeway, but that's a whole other thread.

“did I tell you I love your jam?” Sounds like he said it under the duress. The picture makes it look like he’s being forced to eat it!

I reckon Meghan’s next to him twisting his right arm up his back……

Sounds like sheer Smut!

If Meghan starts labeling herself that way and makes no effort to rectify I’d agree. Right now I think she doesn’t notice or acknowledge there is a problem.

Yes, I absolutely agree.
It's all about other people's failings and never her own.

In fairness, she's pretty good at following through when it comes to complaining about her 'treatment' and getting digs in at Kate. No attention deficit there.

Maybe she just hasn't got much to offer? Maybe she feels that she deserves wealth and adulation without lifting a finger, now that she's a Duchess? Not everything has to be medicalised.

EmpressOfTheThread · 23/04/2024 16:24

Good points, @IcedPurple . She's certainly focused and consistent on some things.

AliceOlive · 23/04/2024 16:27

I think all of that can coexist and exacerbate the problems.

Her life was structured around Suits before she met Harry. Looking back it seems like a much more interesting and successful time for her. But she had someone else telling her where to be, when to get there, what to wear and even what to say.

Thatsthewayitisnt · 23/04/2024 16:28

She had that in the RF too . It’s just she didn’t like what she was told to do.

Excellent point. 🤣

Although I’m betting it was much less structured.

Thatsthewayitisnt · 23/04/2024 16:31

She doesn’t follow through or stick with anything because what she’s after is a constant supply of attention and adulation. Working hard behind the scenes I suspect bores her. She needs a camera trained on her or people listening to her to feel alive. There are lots of people like that. It’s not a condition , it’s a result of vacuous self absorption and a narcissistic personality.

ThePoshUns · 23/04/2024 16:33

Monteshitshow will never not be funny

EmpressOfTheThread · 23/04/2024 16:36

Well, she made out that she was an independent woman and didn't like the strictures of the royal family, so that challenges that.
If you read the Tom Bower book she was constantly networking and hustling, showing significant determination to get various jobs. I think she was quite single minded and determined.

Lifestooshort71 · 23/04/2024 17:05

I read somewhere that she's keen to show more of the children but Harry is dead against it - with a view to monetising them?? Who knows but some wholesome family snaps would be nice.

Vespanest · 23/04/2024 17:19

Harry is probably realising that it’s extremely hard to live a life in the media and be a father. He can’t do right for wrong now. He chooses privacy the children live a life with their parents being photographed with other people’s children and not being allowed to events that they’d like to go to. He allows his children to be photographed he looses his moral higher ground that he accuses Charles of not protecting him. I can’t see how he will have a choice if they go to school it’s not like they’ve given their daughter a name not to be noticed.

EmpressOfTheThread · 23/04/2024 17:21

Yes, the naming was obviously a forward thinking strategy.

Nice for whom? Certainly not the children. If they want to take photos of their children they shouldn’t be for public consumption.

EmpressOfTheThread · 23/04/2024 17:35

Interesting that they shared one of Princess Lilibet when she turned 1 that Platinum Jubilee weekend.

I read that they wanted to take a Netflix crew to film the late Queen meeting Lili. Not surprisingly, they were told No. Of course, that may not have been true.

MaturingCheeseball · 23/04/2024 18:00

I would like to know exactly what she did want or expect. I remember when a lip reader caught her saying that a royal garden party was boring - and she and Harry were hustled off. Of course it’s bloody boring! But you only have to spend an hour or so smiling and taking an interest in run-of-the-mill Brits before getting back to Instagram scrolling and nagging your assistant to reach out to A-listers.

Salemforcuddles · 23/04/2024 18:10

We all get bored, it's just part of life. Who hasn't sat at a meeting and thought well that's an hour of my life I'm not getting back?

Probably didn’t have anything else newsworthy to deflect from the Platinum Jubilee celebrations?
I think it’s only a matter of time before they are forced to start using their children’s pictures or names for money; they have very few other avenues open to them.
I also think they’re capable of stooping as low as it takes to get $$$$ as demonstrated by Oprah, Spare etc, they have no qualms about exploiting others.

I would have thought hobnobbing with the rich and famous could be fairly boring too, but there's something in that for her.

FlouncetteLaFroth · 23/04/2024 18:19

I don’t think garden parties would be boring at all.

Lots of people from all different kinds of backgrounds with lots of interesting things to say…

…if you are genial and are bothered to listen to what someone has to say.

I can see how it would be boring if you were only interested in yourself.
