My understanding of that world is that EVERYTHING is for sale. Everything is transactional. She knew exactly what she was doing. Why else did she go [in marrying Harry] where no other woman dared to tread? There’s no benefit in marrying the second in line, you’d have to do so because of the man that he is (one of the reasons why she needs to emphasize their love story; it takes the wind out of the media’s married-for-money sails). Meghan had the whooooooole of the USA to choose from, but nothing and nobody could get her where she is now as quickly as marrying Harry could. Or perhaps, she didn’t have a commensurate amount to offer any man who could propel her to the heights she has achieved with Harry. Leo di Caprio is still single I guess…

In terms of fame and money, she’s way better off now than she ever was. It’s no paradox. It was a cold-headed ambition that she turned into reality, riding the wave of the British public’s love of a royal fairy tale. The British public elevated her as Harry’s intended, and she took it for everything it was worth. She used the RF. As with every other couple, I wish them the very best in their partnership.

@shenandoahvalley Thank you for your insightful post - I agree with everything you said. I've always wondered how Meghan didn't 'get' the UK even a bit after living in Canada. She just isn't interested which to me makes her clinging to her Duchess title even more mad.

Blake Lively has far more going for her. She's the Queen of the Met Gala and she basks in Ryan Reynolds reflected glow. Harry is no Ryan.

Unfortunately for Harry I do not see his role in the California dream. Even the new launch is a one off polo special whereas Meghan adventure appears to be multi faceted. The potential problem with ARO is their overheads are massive compared to their rivals, and if successful can Harry mentally cope with being the husband of a successful business woman/influencer. He not got a good track record of being a “spare” part. The public speaking will not last long as he’s not very good at it. Invictus is where he shines but either he or the charity have to pick up a huge bill each time it happens.

Sorry if this has been discussed on here already (and I have mentioned it on another thread) but is this Guy the beagle (Meghan’s dog) in this photo of Abigail Spencer promoting ARO jam? As if it is, you can see the shadow of the person who is taking the photo and it looks like a woman’s silhouette.
