Absolutely- a very tawdry, unprofessional saga. Totally disrespectful of the British people. They need to look at the King's PR to see how it's done properly and respectfully.

As a British Person thanks for your concern, but literally nobody I know has even mentioned it except in passing.

It's been ridiculously mild this winter

It really hasn't.

Not so mild that not one person would be seen without a hat, scarf or glove in December. You know and I know that the people in that photo are dressed for spring, not mid winter, however 'ridiculously mild'.

Dont you think she's wearing a wig though

Yes, yes I do. It’s clearly one of those ‘Jimmy’ wigs with bright orange hair under a Tam O’Shanter. It just looks a bit different in the video.

Ever so humble our Wills
Puts old Bob Cratchett to shame

What are you talking about? What does being humble have to do with working anyway?

MyopicBunny · 19/03/2024 17:20

William is a pompous prig. I've heard him talk about stuff and he is unpleasant, sneering and clearly thinks he can throw his weight around. And I'm allowed to have that opinion which I'm entitled to, based also upon the fact that he leaves the donkey work of senior royals to Anne and even Edward and Sophie. He's lazy.

When he was younger, everyone had such high hopes for him but he turned out a disappointment.

Franker · 19/03/2024 17:22

Excuse me? EXCUSE ME. Kevin Pieterson just told everyone to STFU, so if you could all stop with your opinions, questions and observations, that would be grand. Thank you. Kevin will be pleased.

Opinions are for everyone.

I have them also.

“I've heard him talk about stuff”
🤣

You can't argue with the facts.

Yes, since he lives near them and sees them around, he also knows far more than the rest of us. I doubt he gets invited to dinner with the Wales'

You can't argue with the facts.

Well unless you’ve been having countless private conversations with William then you haven’t got any facts you’ve just got your interpretation of his interactions in public.

My opinion is he sounds the complete opposite of pompous and comes across as thoughtful and pleasant.

Now it could all be an act and he’s different in private - I have no idea.

Ermm are you Chelsea Lee Art?

How vile. Are you ok?

MyopicBunny · 19/03/2024 17:29

My thoughts about how he comes across are opinion but his (lack of) work ethic is a matter of fact.

The DM chose the picture which least looks like her, probably to stir things or maybe because they didn’t get the exclusive.

Yep this , I laughed when I saw the first photo thought it was a joke. But having seen the video and other photos it's definitely them

Is that a paraphrase? 🤪

LoreleiG · 19/03/2024 17:32

I’ve never seen evidence of him being pompous either but then I don’t follow his work schedule and life as closely as some people seem to on here... Ref working, maybe he thinks since he will be working until literally the day he dies it will all balance out in the end.

Dont you think she's wearing a wig though

It does look very long and one length but she could wear hair pieces to style it when dressed up

If that's her I dont know why there was so much editing to the mothers day picture

She must be one of the only women over 40 to have lost so much weight in such a short period of time even though she was tiny anyway and it not age her face at all

I live in SE and havent worn a coat. I wore a coat in the cold snap that lasted 4 days and that’s it. It’s been extremely mild here.

Or maybe you don’t feel the cold. I have plenty of relatives in the SE who have been wearing coats over the winter 🙄

Not the approach Charles or Elizabeth took.

My thoughts about how he comes across are opinion but his (lack of) work ethic is a matter of fact.

A work ethic is not a factual thing, it is a principle. You mean his work schedule. Compared with, say, Charles who is not parent to young children and known to be a workaholic.

William probably just wants to be more of a hands on parent in the early years, unlike Charles or The Queen. History suggests that’s a good thing.

I mean, I don’t know, as I don’t know him. Maybe he is lazy or maybe it is an easy form of criticism.

Whose parenting was so admirable.

They are not. What a stupid thing to assume. My point was anyway just because you personally were not cold and didn’t wear a coat, doesn’t mean everyone else feels the same. But this is a pointless argument because you are just being contrary
