Harry and Meghan are so petty and bitter

They knew that announcing Meghan's new venture would be big news. So they dropped it 45 minutes before William was due to speak yesterday evening. At an awards ceremony dedicated to harry and William's mother's memory.

But that wasn't good enough. Oh no. They then announced the winner of their own awards. While the Diana awards were still going on and Prince William was handing out prizes.

Is there no level this petty, bitter couple won't sink to?!

Got to admit, I’m neither a Harry & Meghan or a royal family fan, in this case the launch was probably planned ages ago and the timing could be an unfortunate coincidence. Anyway, H&M don’t have anything to do
with the RF, so why should they consider William in their timing of their new venture?

The launch couldn't have been organised ages ago, they only applied for the trademark a couple of weeks ago.

As PP said - this is not the first time. They often seem to have something important going on the same day as something in the RF. Very planned and quite cynical.

There has been a very negative run of stories. He lost control of the photo story. When the daily mail run a story accusing you of being ungentlemanly for letting your sick wife take the fall you know there is troubke brewing.

So - he should call the Sussex two and thank them!

The Diana awards are not a Royal family event. They are a Spencer family event.

But that clearly wasn't enough for Harry and Meghan. They had to shoehorn their own stuff into the day. Couldn't wait 24 hours. And of course they both knew when the Diana awards were. D'ya think that Harry might have mentioned them to Meghan? That he was going to be doing a Live?

So you're arguing that Harry overshadowed his own event?

Well it was more his brother's event, as William was the one who was actually turning up. So, yes. Because that's clearly what Harry did.

He and Meghan released the news of their new venture and awards recipients during the ceremony dedicated to the grandmother of their children. In order to stick it to Prince Willliam.

It was an Awards ceremony dedicated to Prince Harry's mother. The grandmother of his children. That he took part in.

I'll have you know that launching preserves is a matter very close to mine and my husbands (royal) hearts.

Jam sales are one of the things Diana would have absolutely wished for for her favourite son so to launch during a memorial was entirely fitting

Right. H&M just had to announce their things on the same night, at the same time, as Prince William was handing out awards in the name of Harry's mother. It 100% had to be that time.

After all, there are only 365 other days this year to announce something!
