Do not read or comment if you aren't interested!

Shamefully starting a new Kate related thread for the fellow people like me who are so far down the rabbit hole they need to talk it out with fellow tin foil hat wearers 🤙
I want to know.. what do you think?
Where is she?
The wild theories?
Will she make the Easter Day service?
What the hell is going on over at KP?

I think she's seriously ill and will be stepping back soon.

I've got popcorn and I've got alllllll night, let's dissect.

I think its mainly quite interesting that the mainstream media, who usually cooperate with the RF, really are not at the moment.

Kp/k&w have pissed them off one way or another.

Myotheripodisayoto · 19/03/2024 11:46

The theory - whether or not it's a point anyone agrees with, is that this "indulgence" is good for the country and good for the finances of the country overall.

I think at one stage it was, and i would have agreed pretty wholeheartedly with you that it drove tourism revenue etc.

I'm really, really not sure it does any more.

The Sun are literally printing “Great to see you Kate” and “Lay off Kate”; they’re firmly planting their flag in the royal corner.

Of course they are! Ker ching on the click bait revenue 💰💰

Quite how KP address this is another matter.

So ........ Charles has kidney cancer

Catherine was a match so donated a kidney.

The donor always takes longer to recover.

Thank you

Oooo good theory 🤣

I think at this stage only a personal bookmarked apology to you will do, we can all rest easy then.

I had kidney cancer. You don't get a new kidney, you just survive with the remaining kidney. It's extremely rare to get kidney cancer in both kidneys. By the way, I know you probably weren't being serious!

Myotheripodisayoto · 19/03/2024 13:36

There are regular claims about the "independent" wealth various members of the RF apparently hold separate to the Crown & associated estate itself.

Do we really think these people would have generated and maintained such wealth outside of the monarchy?

They've benefited from passing a huge estate down inheritance tax free.

The vast majority of their (extensive) living costs are funded from the sovereign grant (i.e the taypayer).

Chunks of the RFs "private" income/assets dates back to the middle ages - is it really possible to truly separate things in a period when many aristocrats were simply given land/wealth by monarchs as rewards.

Maybe there are elements within their "private" estates truly earned or generated from their own hard graft (the queen's equestrian related interests for example)

But the vast majority they really have not earned on fair terms with the rest of us.

@Severalwhippets - does it bother you that Sadiq Khan has 1,100 City Hall employees on over £100,000 per annum?

The difference here is if I dont like Mr Khan, I can stand outside his office and protest with banners saying this and not get arrested. I can wear a t shirt saying this and lurk outside his office and not get arrested. and I can vote him out of office and campaign for him to be removed from office. See the difference now??

Oh! I’m a dolt. I made the rather easy decision to donate my brother’s organs when he died. He had put himself down as a donor but I had final say.

It helped me make sense and find meaning in something completely senseless.

Mymilkshakebringsallthepapstomycar · 19/03/2024 14:37

💐@AliceOlive It may have been an easy decision, but it was still an incredible one. I'm very sorry you lost your brother, and I hope that it's a comfort to you that he saved other lives x

Absolutely. Nor should those who more or less brag about their drugs habit and monetise it as some sort of modern day virtue, be hero-worshipped and lauded as appropriate role models for children and other vulnerable groups.

I have no idea if this is photo-shopped or not so don’t ask.

But you can understand the hiding away if it isn’t photo-shopped.
