It can’t have helped that her mother was presented in the worst possible light on the Crown. Or that her parents have been in the spotlight because their business folded with lots of unpaid creditors. Carole has aged a lot in the past two years . That coupled with all the Harry and Meghan drama, the death of both William’s grandparents and now Charles having cancer must be a hell of a lot to death with. Now we have William’s Uncle disclosing serious abuse suffered whilst at school. It’s relentless and just be really tough to deal with.
In addition, her Uncle goes on national tv and spouts in about her. A gross invasion of privacy .

I suspect this was done with good intent and not much fore thought.

The images came out of Kate in the car and she looked like she’d been very ill, with a puffy face. So they’ve issued one to make her look in full health , thinking it will calm things down, but used an old one pre surgery, touched it up to hide that fact, as it’s only really the clothes edited, and never for one moment thought the agencies would all distribute then kill the image.

and now they are in the shit, as they can’t release the original as it will show they lied to thr public, when the whole thing was never meant to be that deep and probably even simply vanity at play. Kate doesn’t want to be seen looking puffy faced and people speculating at steroids, and why steroids, and so she’s done this.

They thought they could put it on social media and that would be it. But the agencies picked it up and distributed, and The fact they have all then killed and said digitally manipulated is a very significant issue now for the palace.

i think all they can do is ride it out till she’s able to appear in public.

What really is so unbelievable about a woman not looking good after surgery and three young children not coopering for a photograph? Tidying it all up too much was the issue but really most media outlets do their own checks before posting pictures and if this had happened in this instance, the picture wouldn’t have been shared to have needed to be withdrawn in the first place.

Maybe they're as surprised as the rest of us at the gravity of the current social media shit storm? We're all aware of the type of collective hysteria social media can whip up, but I think the gravity of this one has taken lots of us by surprise. The prince and princess of wales take a lot of their own pictures, have done for years, this isnt news. Possibly theres been other pictures that were brushed up and not noticed, because there wasn't this frenzy.

Its perhaps hard for them to know the correct response, given that this is all borne from a collective curiosity that has reached a deranged level. The situation is that the princess has chosen not to make public the details of her surgery. Deal with it, and perhaps do yourself a favour and find something healthier and more worthwhile to occupy your mind.
