And now we’re supposed to believe that the country’s biggest PR machine in the middle of a media storm just let Prince William take a casual Mothers Day pic on his iPhone, let the missus edit it and then post it to the world?

There was ‘someone’ blue lighted to hospital in December.

Please don’t be talking about the Twitter post which has been debunked - doesn’t show an ambulance - doesn’t have any proof when it was taken - doesn’t show a start or end point to prove the vehicles were going to a hospital in London etc etc.

One wonders how they manage to carry any images of the Kardashians , other reality stars etc if they never carry doctored photos , most of them have been filtered , doctored , tweaks etc. Frankly there is barely a photograph on instagram which is in its original form.

The coverage is horrible, whatever you think of the royals and the system they exist in this a real human being who clearly has been through an ordeal and is feeling pretty vulnerable.Not everybody is comfortable with airing their personal health issues. My feeling is that it probably is something quite serious and possibly life changing because otherwise it would have leaked already . Those in the know , and there must be a fair few who work with the family, work at the hospital, work with family members etc etc would have leaked something minor.

Weight gain to where she won’t be seen? We saw her in December with her slim silhouette and in 2 months she’s obese? Don’t be delusional. How do you know she didn’t use Zoom? She might have Zoomed the palace all of the time. She did with her children, parents and others. No one knows the severity or non severity of her surgery. It could have been a hysterectomy and they found something else. I’ve had several major surgeries and took off work 8-10 weeks and no I didn’t want to be seen and we know if she was seen the media would take a photograph and plaster it all over. She’s been the center and lied about and not once has she said or retaliated and said a word. If I’m accused of a lie I probably wouldn’t have been so kind. She’s beautiful, talented, caring, a good Mother and wife and for 11 years support ed the UK and never chaos or scandal. She will be a wonderful Queen that the late Queen will be proud of.

She’s not the one who calls the paparazzi to tell them what parking lot she’ll be at. She’s never had to or have someone inside a restaurant to take her pictures at a drive through. She’s been heavily photographed beginning in college and maybe while healing she doesn’t want pictures.

I can't help wondering why they didn't just post the picture on their Insta. As you say the Press gleefully pick up and post Kardashian's shots routinely as "news".

This is all a total wet dream for the conspiracy theorists who won't rest until they see Catherine's death certificate so "we" can all save the £1.59 a year "we" pay for the Royal Family.

Reality, the woman has publicly acknowledged her failing and apologised. She did that a damn sight quicker than most folk that the Press write about (including uncle Andrew). She's taken it square on the chin.

But it not enough is it? Let's ignore the fact she's recovering from an operation. Let's speculate about her health, damn her wellbeing, whip up a storm that her marriage is about to end in divorce. It's not her in the car because of the bricks. Her husband is a cunt because he dared look at his phone, probably to read a message from his mistress.

And then, what happens to this woman who has evidently tried very hard to live up to impossible expectations.

I think she’s on the road to recovery , she’s clearly getting out. Whatever has happened to her has clearly been very significant and I think totally unexpected. And they have tried to keep her privacy , and just made some mistakes , which has led to all the speculation.

for example saying it was planned, but having to cancel immediately all engagements. That doesn’t tally, so it clearly wasn’t planned more than a day in advance.

william not turning up to his own godfathers memorial , with only an hours notice.

william quite frankly doing very little work, cancelling all his engagements, although starting to do more now.

putting out a heavily manipulated photo.

i think they are just in a very stressful situation that is fluid and probably not having the bandwidth to think through their decisions and getting it wrong, as it’s obviously unprecedented.

the stress of someone in your immediate family being very ill suddenly is huge, especially with 3 young kids. To try to manage anything else on top of that, never mind the huge public pressure must be unbearable, so getting it a bit wrong is fully understandable.

They literally have teams and teams of people to do everything for them. No ‘bandwidth’ is needed.

The only glitch in that diatribe is the fact she didn’t even take the photo.

Given she is recovering from major surgery I doubt she sat hunched editing for several hours - and editing that would require a skill well beyond her self confessed ‘amateur’ ability.

So her apology was surprising shall we say, given William took the photo, or so he said….

No amount of teams of people can deal with the emotional fallout though. ( Prince Harry should be enough evidence of that) Illness can be a massive emotional as well as physical shock, whatever this is it’s clearly been fairly quick , people process shock differently and they process diagnosis differently. Some want to tell the world others retreat , apparently roughly 40% of people use holiday for medical appointments to avoid having to tell people about their health concerns . Imagine having to deal with all of that , and the POW has never shown any signs of being a ‘over sharer’ whilst the world and his wife are out there baying for blood, mocking you for being ‘in your bunker’ , speculating about your marriage, It’s coming dangerously close to bullying.
