Not sure if you understand that little bit in the captioning there that goes something like "the photo is not representative of the [photo] sent by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex"

Meaning it was NOT digitally altered by the Sussexes themselves and sent out to international agencies. (Other "news" agencies altered the photo to get a better look at Meghan).

Therein lies the difference.

Also I quite clearly recall the social media furor and threads on here at least bashing them, but they can't be bashed for something they didn't do.

It’s obvious to most sane people this is unfortunately how underhand pr tactics work. The agenda and objective are crystal clear. It’s interesting that anyone would even fall for such blatant manipulations and machinations. Well people fell for saint Theresa too for a while too I guess, what a brilliant expose by Hitchens, shining a light on all that murky exploitation of grief and tragedy.
