@SummaLuvin we all know that certain words seem "OK" to certain people eg Harry when he referred to his miltary friend but they are not to that person regardless of what we may mean. Speaking of Harry then who claims that unconscious bias made people query what colour his children may be then maybe this is your unconscious bias? You think it is OK but are you an Arab?

@User442681bgt I never said I would continue using the word, like PP, I wouldn't wish to inadvertently upset someone. I was just interested to be pointed towards sources showing they had the same origin (which people upthread claimed), when everything I had been able to find said they developed independently.

If it’s about the excess, I imagine many of the very same posters that find themselves so outraged by William’s living quarters would have no problem whatsoever with Harry and Meghan’s 12 mock Spanish-Mission bathrooms. They would likely say “Good for them!”

Willy has the publicly subsidised use of several homes while trousering Daddy's rent on another.

Harold has a mortgage along with the rest of the eye-watering expenses to pay on his cut price and grandiose purchase from a suspect oligarch.

While both seemingly have the same excessive appetite for property the two situations aren't comparable.
