IX beg your pardon Sir

CurlewKate · 28/02/2024 12:30

"My guess - one of the classmates of G/C/L started repeating gossip/speculation they'd heard from their parents"

I have been assured by Mumsnet experts that this would never happen. Because, apparently, it's a private school.

JaneJeffer · 28/02/2024 12:31

I thought it was quite a turn up for the books to see Camilla and Fergie leading the way. Who could have predicted that back in the 90's?

reclaimmyboobs · 28/02/2024 12:32

Kate doing a bunk seems unlikely. What benefit would she gain? She can’t get her children out of what she’s got them into. And it’s not like she can scarper so quickly Wills needed to bail on an engagement with an hour’s notice.

His MH seems a far more plausible explanation: he may not have normal people pressures like money, work, mortgage, but the Queen’s death/Harry shitshow/wife ill/father ill/cripes I might be king sooner than ideal is a lot for one plate

Andrews behaviour was even more deplorable yesterday given the death of Tom Kingston. A death in the Windsor family yet Andy had to be all pomp, ceremony & gusto... 😡

Edited

I said this yesterday. His demeanour was already over the top jolly for a memorial service, but the news about Tom Kingston makes it even more unpalatable.

It’s literally a walk from the castle to the chapel as well - it’s not like he was needing to keep it appropriate for hours. Literally a few minutes.

When I saw those pics I did wonder what Diana would have made of it all!!

All hail King Harry ❤️😉

Yes please

Just because most people recover from abdominal surgery by 6 weeks doesn't mean everyone does. I know a previously healthy 30 year old man who had surgery for appendicitis, there were complications and he ended up with a stoma which he had to have further surgery to reverse later. He was off work for 8 months.

It was very interesting to see Fergie walk down with Andrew when she wasn’t sat with him.

That she was sat in the second row next to Sarah Chatto and behind Princess Anne convinces me Andrew should have been in that row with her and was shuffled forward when William pulled out.

imo they should have moved the Duke of Kent forward instead.

More like shuffled himself forward and nobody managed to stop him!

Newchapterbeckons · 28/02/2024 12:39

I think it’s likely to be Kate too. The updates have been so vague as to be non existent. There is no way William would ever pull out of such an important service with an hours notice. Not a chance. Camilla looked very grim, uncharacteristically so.

The RF have done a good job of keeping this buried but honestly I think it can only be Kate.

Oh the irony! The moral crusaders fighting the noble fight against press intrusion behind the mighty Montecito dragon slayer (well done that man! 👏😂) now baying for photos of young children being dropped off at school to be published so the masses can salivate and pick over every intimate detail.

Both weird and disgusting at the same time

Nobody is baying for photos of the kids here that I can see... it was simply a comment that as they are obviously watched all the time and occasionally photographed at school, on the school run, so, has anyone seen them?

People seem to be getting a bit hysterical at what are pretty reasonable questions around William and Kate at the moment. They're going to be our next King and Queen, he is going to be our head of state, and there is some unusual and unexpected behaviour. All the family are scrutinised, this is no different.

William hasn't been seen with another member of the family since Christmas, not even visiting his very sick father, Kate hasn't been seen since, usually photographs or some statements would be released over a long absence, but we have nothing. They had a foreign trip plan announced Dec 22, so none of this absence is planned. There is also no sign of her parents, not visiting hospital or their homes. It is unusual, and it is concerning and its ok for people to say so.

Andy and Fergie will remarry and become king and queen says a royal expert.

Did the royal expert detail the deaths of a seemingly healthy man in his early 40s, three young children, a second seeming healthy man in his late 30s/early forties and two further children?

I agree. Yesterday's update that she was doing well may be generally accurate but that doesn't mean there wasn't an issue yesterday.

Well said. My thoughts exactly

It is unusual to say the least.

SecondUsername4me · 28/02/2024 12:43

What is happening with Kate is exactly what they told us was going to happen with her, agead of her surgery. One press release, no updates, and she will be back working after Easter.

Literally they are doing exactly what they said would happen. It's therefore not surprising or concerning that she hasn't been seen at all.

JustDoneItNow · 28/02/2024 12:43

I half expected an announcement last night that Catherine has died

Newchapterbeckons · 28/02/2024 12:44

I think BP at this stage need to offer an honest update of the actual facts: I think it is a risk to continue with such speculation, and will corrode public good will if something serious is being covered up. They are the future King and Queen, not just spare parts. This charade needs to stop.

eise · 28/02/2024 12:45

EsmaCannonball · 28/02/2024 10:04

Unless Pippa Middleton is exactly like her character on The Windsors, I can't imagine her, in tabloid parlance, frolicking in a bikini while Kate is at death's door.

They didn't say she way dying.

Minikievs · 28/02/2024 12:45

@MsForgetful Thank you. It was me that made the comment about the school run. I'm glad you read it as it was intended. One comment on a fast moving, double thread, and I'm apparently baying and salivating for pictures of small children 😐

Why did Prince William suddenly pull out? That was not planned.

JaneJeffer · 28/02/2024 12:46

The royal expert says that William will remove himself and his children from the line of succession and that Harry only wants to be king of people's hearts so he will follow suit. King Andrew will reign supreme.

SecondUsername4me · 28/02/2024 12:46

Maybe Kate and the children are staying with the Middletons, to avoid anyone seeing her/them travelling around.
