This wasn't even on my radar until I came across it on X/Twitter. Rabbit hole of craziness suggests that she is actually a man and that she is blood sacrifice to ensure the continuation of the royal family.

It's just possible that W&K feel there's already been more than enough intimate detail flung around the media and are setting their stall out for how things will be done in future ... and I wouldn't blame them at all

The public pays for the royal family that is why. If they wish to have privacy we can stop the hundreds of millions overnight and reroute the money to the nhs, job done, they can pay for themselves!

You missed the one on the earlier thread - my particular favourite - how he was on his way to his mistress who had gone into labour and Kate is holed up with Princess Di’s ex lawyers. If only they would allow a TV crew into their lives… we’d never need to change channel again!

I don't know why some people insist there's something more nefarious here.

My theory is that there was a story about to be leaked (maybe about what surgery KM had) and PW personally went to speak/threaten the leaker.

She said she wanted privacy and didn’t reveal what her surgery was for. Maybe she’s pissed off that from the very start people have speculated and made stuff up about her health (it’s a hysterectomy, no it’s Crohn’s, no she’s pregnant, no she has….). So if she issues a photo people will be all over it looking for signs of illness or sitting awkwardly or her facial expression, etc etc. Even a brief non-health update would be picked over and misinterpreted and speculated about.

Perhaps William is pissed of faith this too, so, despite having a fairly run of the mill illness, purposely issued a vague statement, with the implicit message to back off?

Exactly - I would place good money on this theory.

For a family imbued in protocol who curtsy or bow to each other upon first meeting, in private! how do they reconcile these courtly manners with pushing

If the RF took legal action against that outlet for that story where would they stop. There's so much speculation they're better ignoring the rubbish. If they started legal action against some reports and not others people would draw their own (wrong) conclusions from that too

Well you can’t be pissed off by genuine concern or the people paying for your care. It’s not on.

Having seen videos of children making get well cards for the princess, and imagining this is fairly representative of what is going on across the country, particularly given the images of King Charles with his stash, I do find it odd that there has been no personal response to what must be an avalanche of cards. It seems out of character. This has got nothing to do with medical updates, which I wouldn't expect.

Maybe the POW's just fed up with the whole circus.

Meghan wasn't able to give birth to Archie and announce a while later without horrified paragraphs from the Daily Fail etc. Kate is protected in a way other women in the RF never were. Missing for months and left alone. My point is not that she should be hounded but that others should have been treated well also. The preferential media treatment is disconcerting to say the least. I would have packed my bags also.

I get the feeling that some posters really wish for the worst. It’s really horrible.

The story about the surgery is a cover up most likely.
