The reviews are saying either Netflix have had enough of this kind of stuff or they have a bigger production on with Harry. Time will tell.

Maireas · 26/02/2024 11:19

I remember reading when Meghan arrived in the UK in the summer of 2016 to get work/contacts/a relationship, she tried to get a role in Made in Chelsea. I think reality tv is probably a way forward for them. At Home With The Sussexes. Or some such. (Notice how I have capitalised "The").

jeffgoldblum · 26/02/2024 11:52

Nicely done @Maireas ! 🧀

Harry could do a money saving hacks segment, so he can seem relatable and relevant to COL. What to do when your pocket money is cut off, how to score free flights and accommodation,
that type of thing.

Maireas · 26/02/2024 12:21

Yes, plus I was thinking about an environmental/ecology spot, maybe sharing information about how using private jets, having a mansion and going around in a massive SUV can be offset by keeping chickens and growing your own carrots.

I have just had toasted Wensleydale cheese ( 2 slices of bread ) with raw red onion on top with cherry tomatoes and some mango chutney. I then had a homemade rhubarb crumble with cream.

I looked for Wensleydale yesterday but they only had ones with apricots or some other fruit.

That is the devil’s food, and not in a good way.

Turtlerussell · 26/02/2024 23:41

Is Cheshire cheese similar to Wensleydale?

I decided none of you would approve and backed away.

I mentioned it on another thread, but it's very sad news about Lady Gabriella Kingston's husband Tom. He had died suddenly aged 45. They were married in 2019. Tragic.

‘Britain’s ‘crumblies’ (mainly originating from the North of England and Wales):
Traditionally these are Cheshire, Wensleydale, Lancashire and Caerphilly. Production typically has high starter inoculation rate, large curd size, and minimal scalding / stirring.

  • Cheshire
  • Flavour and Aroma: clean, mild, acidic and fresh, sometimes milky.
  • Body and Texture: moderately firm, open crumbly paste. Colour should be bright white unless deliberately coloured.
  • Aged usually 3 months.
  • Example: Appleby’s Cheshire (or try Anster too!).
  • Wensleydale
  • Flavour and Aroma: clean, mild acidic and milky fresh.
  • Body and Texture: moderately firm, closed flaky texture, fairly dry but with a bit of moistness.
  • Aged usually 2+ months.
  • Example: Richard III Wensleydale, Hawes Wensleydale, Kit Calvert Wensleydale.’

Anster Cheese - The Courtyard Dairy.

Anster cheese: crumbly, lactic and fresh. Buy online and find out more about Jane Stewart of St Andrew's Farmhouse and her artisan farmhouse cheese.

Ended up peeking. it’s so pathetic when people are getting all self righteous and judgey and condemning him - based on reasons they’ve literally made up 😂😂😂😂

mrsmingleton · 27/02/2024 20:42

All these "new" posters - where the heck do they come from?

What's funny is that someone yesterday was going on about people talking about what Harry was going to say about KC health and frothing and exploding blah blah and NOW they are all doing the same thing about William's shits 😂

AliceOlive · 27/02/2024 20:47

Always fun to how highly people think of their own opinion. The “I have no sympathy” posts always make me laugh.

AliceOlive · 27/02/2024 20:49

So much hypocrisy.

Turtlerussell · 27/02/2024 20:50

Ghoulish gloating. I know some hold the view that Harry and Meghan get the worst time on these threads, but actually it’s William and Kate that repeatedly have the most obscene things said about them. And the threads and posts are so numerous they don’t get deleted. Probably clear at this point im not Harry’s biggest fan, but I woudlnt talk about him the way certain posters do about William. I don’t even particularly like William either. He just isn’t stupid enough to glamourise drug use and openly claim his own blood relatives were jealous of his glamorous wife. So he doesn’t invoke the same response.

Turtlerussell · 27/02/2024 20:52

Exactly!!!!!! The lack of self awareness is astounding!

And the topics they keep gravitating towards - I feel embarrassed for them

Turtlerussell · 27/02/2024 20:57

Harry has backstabbed his family, there’s tangible evidence of it, and yet we apparently shouldn’t hold negative opinions on it, on things he has actually done.

But apparently it’s ok to be angry at William - because…oh wait we don’t even know what he’s done 😂 best make something up then eh 😂 manufactured outrage indeed 😂

William has a wife that’s unwell, a sick father, recent bereavements, lots going on, a traitor brother calling his wife a racist etc. You’d think there would be a little compassion and perspective at least.

AliceOlive · 27/02/2024 21:11

The juxtaposition of people who think that it was a really onerous job for H&M, while also saying that W&K do almost nothing at all. Meghan should get paid for such difficult work, but everyone else in the RF are just a bunch of freeloading lay-abouts. There is this huge lack of compassion for them.

AliceOlive · 27/02/2024 21:12

The idea that if IG is in UK, the RF will create drama and turn it into a circus. Except, they have not been the ones bringing in the clowns at every turn.

MaturingCheeseball · 27/02/2024 21:16

Heartily agree. That thread is a depressing read. I couldn’t help posting why oh why are posters making up crap like “I think he’s gone on holiday - how dare he duck out of the memorial service to go on holiday?”

And, yes, the comments here about M&H are generally funny, but the Supporters are quite vitriolic about W&K. Worse than about Andrew, which is strange. It seems Andrew only enters their consciousness when he’s useful to invoke some whataboutery.

smilesy · 27/02/2024 21:39

I know a lot of threads on here get repetitive but that one is really like Groundhog Day. I was working earlier and before I started it was on about page 6. When I finished work it was on page 24 but nearly all the posts were exactly the same as when I had left it; It must be something wrong with Kate, he’s got the shits, he’s gone to see his bird, what a lazy bastard he is and then one lonely post saying all this has already been said and that palace have strongly suggested otherwise. Then the whole cycle repeats again. Can’t be arsed with it 😆
