I thought all royalty/celebs did filters and photoshop or whatever on released images especially on Instagram? I'm actually confused now.
I'm going to change my work photo ID for a considerably younger and more glamorous image. "No, yr9, it's really me!"

I think for me then most damage is attached to the news media who are not brave enough to print vicious rumours so just hint and pretend they have the moral high ground, whilst still focusing on her recovery. I notice that most people in comments sections want them to leave Catherine alone which I find heartening.

Yes, and on YouGov today one of the Quick Questions is "has the Palace released enough information about Catherine" (I paraphrase) to which 55% say yes, and only 20% say not enough (the rest don't know).

So public opinion is definitely in the "leave her alone" camp.
