I’m thinking of trialling something like this, but I wonder if it will contain the cheese smell when it’s in the fridge? Also the rewear aspect should up my eco credentials ! Right on time, ahead of our upcoming oil and gas guzzling world tour!

I was watching Rick Stein's Venice to Istanbul programme the other week and he was sampling a cheese made in a goat skin. Not sure I'd been keen on that.

Actually, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be at ALL keen on that.

My local Sainsbury seems to be experiencing some sort of Marmite shortage, with no deliveries expected soon. Am in a mild panic. Going out shortly to try some other supermarkets.

I can tolerate goats' cheese, but smelly old goat skin cheese? No thank you!

If you do find it: Make some really good quality toast, slart it with as much butter as it can take whilst it's still hot, and then a a thin covering of the old Marmite, mixing in nicely with the butter. Hopefully your life will be changed forever.
