Does anyone know where Prince William is?

Errrrr….. where’s Willy? The press focus in the past 24 hours has been perplexing. King Charles’ diagnostic has been the top item, of course. But, bizarrely, the 2nd item has almost invariably been… Prince Harry this and that and the other. Prince HARRY??? What’s with the obsession with him? This should be about Prince WILLIAM! Yet from/about him, absolute silence. What on Earth is going on?

And please don’t start with the “he has to be at his wife’s bedside”. If Harry The Not Next In Line To The Throne And Not Counsellor of State And Can’t Stand In For The King etc etc can fly all the way from Montecito, then William The next King and He Who Should Stand In For King Charles can go visit his Dad in hospital (did he?), rush to be by his dad’s bedside (did he?), make announcements about which official duties he will take up, etc etc.

I know Prince Harry is the one the media are addicted to writing about and slagging off to drive clicks, but can they (and so many on these boards) perhaps take a break from their unhealthy obsession with H (&M) and keep the spotlight where most would expect it to be, on King Charles and, in particular, his successor Prince William?

I don't think anything is going on per se. William has always bee workshy. It's just now that Kate is sick that his absence has been more visible but he's always been lazy.

I've been saying for years that William hates royal life. He sees the life his aristo friends are living: rich, privileged but out of her media spotlight and this is the life he truly wants

One entire day of work per week!

That would undoubtedly be the highest per-diem on the planet - if you include his inheritance tax discount, which by the time he's king will be well over £2 billion.

So let's say he continues at a hectic rate of one day of work per week, taking 30 weeks holiday off per year as he's been doing so far, so that's 22 days of gruelling hard work per year, over let's say 20 years before he decides he just can't be a*sed anymore and...

kerching! that's a perdiem of... £2.27 million a day just on the IHT dispensation, before you add the additional millions he'll be getting from the public purse.

What great value for money, UK taxpayers!!!!!

Gran Canaria was lovely and I ate and drank my own body weight over the 5 nights we were away for 🍸🍷⛱️🧀

I even went to the hotel gym twice and did a couple of yoga classes, just so I could fit in some more food & drink, such was my dedication.

Pretty sure he is sitting at the bar in our local ….will check when I sidle up for my next G and T .
