Part 3 of a nice, unproblematic thread to discuss some of the fab outfits from the Duchess of Sussex, and some of the many great causes she (and Harry) and Archewell supports. h/t @queentim for the original threads.

I really liked this outfit and the way the skirt flowed as she walked - really good choice and quite pared back compared to some other people on the red carpet.

Rightly so. Both couples were/are only interested in how much money they can make.

I'd saythe majority of people have a desire no matter how big or small to earn as much as they can and what's wrong with that? Only have to see people on here saying they want higher wages or earn more or how do I get to £100k salary to see that it's perfectly okay to wabt tonearn as much as you can.

But we all have different thresholds for what we would be willing to trade. My DH just asked if I’d run a McDonald’s for $1M a year. Not as manager; as owner. Nope, not for $10M. I value my leisure time too much.

I wouldn’t trade lives with most celebrities, either. I don’t think most people want millions or to move away from everyone they know to make all new friends in a strange place.

This is old but I still need a new coat and it’s good timing for getting something on sale.

I’ve been banging on about the Calvin Klein coat I bought that arrived and was big as a house. It was also a wool blend and looked cheap to me. I finally returned it to the nearest store a few days ago so I’m on the hunt again.

I haven’t bought a new coat since pre-Covid. I need one that is plain and versatile first. Camel or black.

You have to be careful with some of those coats as they look very "dressing gown" type. There is also that tendency to tie them too high up around the waist in an unflattering way.

how can you be tired of it, he hasn't done any of that since Spare. he has done what millions do, talk about their life and their family problems. various other members of the family have done so, including the King. This thread isn't about Harry, its about Meghan and her fashions isn't it?

It could be about Meghan and her terrific fashions and also about positive aspects of their work, but seems like it’s not what a few people really want.

I think it's getting more tiring when stuff that did years ago keeps being dredged up again so people can keep having another pop.

Anyway now it's coming up to spring I look forward to any pictures we might get about what coats she might wear. I don't recall seeing her wear shorter coats or jackets, mostly blazers. 🤔

What’s your best style? My hits right above the knee. I had a lovely boucle Calvin Klein with faux leather and if I could find the same one again i would get it. Similar to the one I posted above but more tailored. I got compliments on it constantly but eventually ripped the back on a wire under an airplane seat.

I found a similar CK style and bought it but it’s not as nice and just would rather than woven.

I honestly don't know, all my life I have struggled with coats and hats! I have ruined every holiday photo this way!! I had one that everyone says I looked good in, I am petite so it was very fitting at the waist, and below the knee surprisingly for a short person. I love Megan's coats, every one, but I don't think the styles will suit me because I am a small person.

What type of shoes do you wear? I think that makes a big different to what looks good.

What size is Meghan, anyway? I thought she was fairly small also.

yeah, I am even shorter, I think she is 5"7. Ia m 5"2. Maybe I am just lazy and should shop and try on more! Its hot trying on coats in menopause. I don't wear heels as much as I used to, and that does make longer coats trickier. Perhaps I am just not used to the current styles of baggy or oversized coats. One of my daughters said I looked great in her huge oversized puffa jacket, but I thought I looked ridiculous and like a child!
