Meghan, Duchess of Sussex spotted out and about, part 3

Part 3 of a nice, unproblematic thread to discuss some of the fab outfits from the Duchess of Sussex, and some of the many great causes she (and Harry) and Archewell supports. h/t @queentim for the original threads.

I really liked this outfit and the way the skirt flowed as she walked - really good choice and quite pared back compared to some other people on the red carpet.

She says menacingly hiding her shears

Yeah, and it’s a right scandal that these baby alpacas don’t have a Invictus logo on them, I mean, that’s just so… gauche!!!

Coronateachingagain · 18/02/2024 21:14

I just realised Megs is missing a brooch collection - that would almost make her appear totally royal instead of half royal. But I will give her some time and a few engagements and I am sure we will be affirmed in this remarkable rebrand push 😀

Maybe her favourite brand AGJ is already working on the merch designs?

skullbabe · 18/02/2024 21:44

You know - there was a poster who said something a long time ago that if you want to find any information about someone - find someone who cannot stand them because the anti fan’s obsession is their anti fandom and they will find things for you.

And here we have case in point.

By the way the jewellery wear and promote business model is well known in Hollywood - Gwyneth for instance is a pro at it. Wonder how much the Duchess is getting paid for every engagement photo showing a bracelet or a necklace. Maybe I should call The Office and enquire about a price list.

pipsfromthefuture · 18/02/2024 21:48

Do keep up. Millennials don't wear brooches darling.

They are considered very out of fashion, and something our grandmothers would wear. Though she'd look nice, certainly not her style.

On point, this AGJ guys where Megs have been getting her jewellery have really nice stuff

Let's contribute to the cost of the private jet please!

You should! You'd make them both a lot of free money!

Oh I didn't know. Thanks for pointing out. Yes I am older than a millennial 😅

But just watch it, I think it will happen.

Thanks for the link @Coronateachingagain . Ariel Gordon does have some beautiful peices 😍

Shopping cart time! Brb!

I think many posters here are to be fair, so not entirely surprised, but the brooch bit gave it away 😜

Ok now those are so cute!

I do have a set of owl jewelry (and skulls but those may be a bit morbid for this thread)

Yes, magazines have been saying this for at least a decade. Case in point - this article's a year old next month and nada. They have yet to re-emerge in the mainstream. And Gen Z definitely won't be picking them up - they're already trying to bring back the early 2000s.

But thanks! Some nice outfits in there

Oh lah lah 😂

Yeah just wait for something like it - the next level brooch on trend collection. I can picture AGJ working overnight. I will call The Office Of for my commission. Although it will probably go against school fees rather than a private jet 😅
