All Meghan-haters, can you please just get over yourselves????
Firstly, this is a POSITIVE thread to celebrate the great causes M&H champion and their fashion sense, it’s not a whingeboard therapy session for those needing their hourly fix of negativity.
Then, like it or not, H&M’s new website is pretty impressive.
I find that it does a great job at communicating clearly that they are about precisely that, a specific set of philanthropy causes relating to women and girls, veterans, and mental health and wellbeing.
I’m also delighted that their bios celebrate the fact that PLENTY of people recognise their achievements, have given them numerous awards, and are keen to work with them, no matter how much MN posters bash them 24-7 (gee what a surprise). In fact, they could have gone further by mentioning that Spare became Amazon’s bestselling book of 2023 (yep!) or that Suits is now Netflix’s most streamed series EVER, no small thanks to Meghan…
And I just laugh at the sour-grapes who say they’re showing off: I should hope so, as they’re beautiful, intelligent, successful, young, healthy, (relatively) rich and famous, and have two no doubt lovely kids and a nice house, why the hell wouldn’t they celebrate?? If they didn’t people would bash them about not achieving anything - for some people it’s damned if they do, damned if they don’t!
And I just love how their new website doesn’t mention the British royal family even once or the fact that Harry’s 5th in line to the throne there - what a great way to stick it to those who keep banging on about how H&M are trading on the RF!
As to the nonsense about their titles, that’s exactly what it is, utter tosh! I have a PhD (admittedly not a royal title) and I use it exactly as I please, I will stand for no-one directing me when or whether to use it - duh.
Anyway, ‘nuff said - BRAVO Harry and Meghan! Have fun at Invictus One Year to Go this week!
