Meghan, Duchess of Sussex spotted out and about, part 3

Part 3 of a nice, unproblematic thread to discuss some of the fab outfits from the Duchess of Sussex, and some of the many great causes she (and Harry) and Archewell supports. h/t @queentim for the original threads.

I really liked this outfit and the way the skirt flowed as she walked - really good choice and quite pared back compared to some other people on the red carpet.

A positive thread should be just that.
Attempts to derail are hypocritical, given the "our right to have a laugh" adjacent thread about mocking the new website.
That's a nice photo skull. She is going to age beautifully like her Mum. Doria is 67 but looks so much younger.

There are plenty of threads on MN to write huge long posts about how awful H&M are, with a captive audience lapping up every new insult and rude name.

Yes, she is very beautiful and photogenic too. I think both Meghan and her Mum are into yoga and meditation... maybe that's the answer for me! Some hope 😂

What do you think the new website is actually for though?

It’s actually a good landing site for all things H&M. If you scroll down past the bios you have the three entities and interests that they have which have now been separated out. Everything H&M related like press releases used to be on the Archewell page - now you have Archewell the foundation, Archewell Productions as separate and a redirect from Sussex Royal. It makes sense for them to actually have the entities being distinct and points to them planning on doing more. Again the productions page is a landing page for now - probably where the information of things like the podcasts and other media ventures will go. The foundation page is looking fine. So all in all a good idea to consolidate.

At the risk of derailing the thread myself - it’s just so exhausting watching it - no matter what she does or says - people are always determined to take it as an affront in some way.

True, and it’s pathetic, but it’s always the same people rehashing the same boring and petty grudges over and over again.

The reason I posted it was as I said - it is interesting when you look back at these things and see them in more recent contexts and behaviours. I didn't realise I had to get your permission to post links on here 🙄

@mrsmingleton now you should know by now that any reference to OW, the wedding etc was YEARS ago therefore not relevant however “ tampon gate “ ( ie a private conversation) or Charles’s interview with Dimbleby or Sarah’s interview are all very relevant .

This is the year I’m going to get myself back into shape to be able to wear something like this! Fingers and toes crossed 🤣

Go for it! My weight yo-yo's. At one point not that long ago, I could've worn that but not at the moment with my bulges!. Love that dress.

I agree, that's quite a severe look - although my daughter does hers like that if she doesn't want to straighten it (they have the same type of hair).

I do like that dress but my arms aren’t quite what they used to be .

I can see the link now. I think it's great if you have nice shoulders. I'd find a high neck a bit irritating, though. It's a good look, though.
