Ah, yes. That makes sense. I knew Serena was religious, I didn't realise she was JW. I think the fruitage of the spirit comes from St Paul. It's an exhortation to take on those Christ like qualities. "Long suffering" is a quality many of us need....

‘Vilify?’ What on earth is she talking about? Serena received highly favourable press coverage throughout her career, which her amazing sporting achievements obviously deserved, and despite some of her appallingly disrespectful & petulant behaviour on court. She also earned $millions in sponsorship. Stop playing the victim, love. You just look silly.

Funny how Markle has fallen out with every single person who has ever encountered her, including her own family, her former ‘best friend’, her celebrity ‘mates’, her in-laws, her previous husband & partners etc etc. Everyone except thicko Harry, who she has successfully cut off from his family. What a charming & delightful individual she is.

They use a version that has been made easier to read & understand.
It also keeps God’s name in, unlike other versions which replace it with Lord, Father, etc.
