Much as I agree with the sentiments on racism, I don’t think that this comment will have shifted how others perceived Meghan back then. Now it’s a reminder that for whatever reason she doesn’t maintain connections long term. People will fill in the blanks.

I guess as this is supportive of Megan she wanted to put it out there, especially as she didn’t contextualise it, by saying it was years old and Serena has never declined to support publicly since then.

Some posters don’t seem to understand that just because PA isn’t endlessly being discussed doesn’t mean we think he is great but rather that the vast majority of people find him odious so discussions are very one sided and repetitive.
More interesting to hear different views especially those where people try to rewrite history to paint H and M as victims.

I don’t think it is a case of not seeming to understand rather than a refusal to understand or indeed a deliberate attempt to misunderstand.

Just in case, for anyone with the above problem, I don’t think the comments are taking the p*ss out of SW or M.
