It's clear that Serena has suffered serious and direct, bare faced racism and sexism. Repeatedly. It just doesn't seem to me that Meghan's situation is like this at all. Meghan grew up in LA and her father was already in the business and she had a foot in the door and worked her way up - certainly not without a very generous helping of pretty privilege. Fine, great. However, what's doesn't appear to be fine is the sheer number of broken friendships and relationships she has left behind - there are a lot of personal tales of this and a lot of people who feel that Meghan used them to climb and then chucked them. That isn't racist/sexist stuff - that's personal relationship stuff. The abuse that Serena receives - man/monkey and that kind of stuff is from people who don't know her personally, they are nasty and abusive and she gets it because she is black, female, talented and strong.

When Meghan married Harry, the whole UK in general were happy about it. There was partying. I watched their wedding at a friend's, I knew of her from suits and thought it was really cool harry was marrying her. I can't bloody stand her/harry now after all the antics. There is so much of it. It's nothing to do with racism and sexism. It's to do with behaviour.
