I think it could have been made funny if it had come across as ironic but his tone made it awkward instead.

I think Travolta was huge for my generation even if he had a hiatus. Welcome Back Kotter, Saturday Night Fever and Grease were all huge for me.

My first ever trip to the cinema was to see Grease. My mum said we were going to see John Travolta but I thought she meant Elton John and on the way, I was sitting in the back of the car, going 'nooo I don't want to go.' I was pleasantly surprised when the film started!

I'm sure it was a joke but it was ill judged. JT was internationally famous while his mother was an aristo teenager in Northamptonshire, and I reckon she'd acknowledge that.

Oh dear it becomes more evident that the fun cheeky prince image was completely manufactured by those mean Palace officials and the real person is arrogant and unpleasant. Perhaps Meghan is finally developing a radar for cringe and wisely stayed away.

I don't believe she has any self awareness - she doesn't seem to realise how much her and her behaviour are disliked by so many of people

No idea if that is true but interesting if it is .

I can't believe that's true, Harry would never have accepted it if he knew William was their first choice, unless the organisers kept it quiet and Harry didn't know until after the event.

Now the selfies of Harry and Prince Mario Max the fake prince are all over the place. Oh dear Harry show some common sense. Maybe he is Harry's business model for his future life though?

From what I gather, I don't think Mario Max is a reeeeaaaaal Prince/aristocrat as we would understand it, by any stretch of the imagination. It all appears incredibly labyrinthian and involves him being adopted aged 24 and then again at 30. It looks very much like he's using a title that he's not entitled to.

I can see why M-M was so keen on cosying up to Harry, but what Harry gets from it is debatable.

I guess Harry was doorstepped by that fraud, I'm sure he did not know anything about him being a Pretend Prince. It was bad luck for Harry that the first photo published was of a selfie with this guy.

What it does show , however, is the calibre of attendees buying seats at these so called award events, It all sounded dodgy from the get-go, but then to see Harry in a photo with this guy makes it look like Harry is a 'rent-a-celeb'. Things are really continuing in free fall for H.

It certainly will put the guy in the map.
