This is how BetterUp describes itself

So some sort of coaching, but I find it mildly baffling - no clue really from that what they actually do! I guess I'm not their target audience (which would be people for whom that sort of wording resonates). The H&M stuff often reads like a mildly incomprehensible word salad to British readers, but I think there's a whole different language culture, and they probably fit right in there.

This was another very revealing statement imo, M made in her Variety interview about thier children:

"We’re creating multidimensional, interesting, kind, creative people. That’s who our kids are."

So the children are all the words and things she likes, because she/they is a making them into all the good things. It's all about her, and her kids are amazing beuase they are a reflection of her.

She just reveals herself whenever she speaks.
Not as clever as she thinks.

I thought Hugh was in contact becuase it's in the papers today that he was.

I feel very sorry for the children being raised by these two. Harry and Meghan seem happy to travel over family festivals (like the weird hockey match over Thanksgiving) and the kids have no access to the extended family that they are so determined to be linked to/have titles from. They have cousins and second cousins that they'll barely ever know.

It's also the reason why she won't have a career in politics. I know it's only ever third party rumours that say that about her, so it's totally possible she has no ambitions in that arena. But if she had, then she won't make headway as she simply won't be able to cut the back-room deals (which depend on trust and confidentiality) that are needed to climb the greasy pole.

If she has serious political ambitions, they would have to stop taking money from Pa - if indeed he hasn't already cut them off. Running for office in the US while being funded by a foreign Head of State would not go down well. Especially the monarchy they went to such lengths to get rid of!

And she would need backing from people who have far greater financial resources than they have, and they would need to learn to shut up and do as they were told.

I think they are far too thin skinned to make a career in US politics. All of their appearances are carefully stage managed and rehearsed. I'm not sure that either could cope with a real debate of questions that were not submitted in advance. Then there is the issue of opposition research which many political parties conduct on their opponents where nothing is off limits - family, medical, drugs, finances etc etc.

I didn’t se that, but there is a difference between keeping in contact, getting in contact as a one off, a being friends, the latter of which requires proactive communication both sides.

Well, I hate to bring up the T word again, but Trump's stock in trade is thin-skinned and petulant, so based on his model of TV star turned politician, they'd be perfect 😆

Thing is a lot of folks love trump in the states, no way round it, he speaks a certain language to certain demographics. Megan just doesn’t have that, she just doesn’t come across as serious.

i do think many of these rumours they themselves start. From politics, to modelling, to random shows like miss haversham, I think they just put that shit out there.

Jessica Mulroney’s tenure as BFF was fairly brief. There’s a kind of revolving door of BFFs chez Harkle - as soon as one gets discarded, another gains favour, a little like Henry VIII and his wives.

I wasn't being serious @Getthethrowonthesofa - I think Meghan would make a TERRIBLE politician! If she thought being a member of RF was bad in terms of bad press, invasion of her privacy and personal attacks, politics is definitely not the career for her.

I think this will all be driven by Jack’s employers . The California elite were keen at the beginning, but they, like virtually everyone else, now want to keep in with the most powerful people in the Nexus…and they are in Windsor , not Montecito.

Just want to add that I doubt they were ever invited to the Westminster wedding. They wouldn't turn down a gig like that.
Hugh and Olivia are very private people. They don't want the wedding to be a circus, or private conversations relayed (and misinterpreted).

I think so, but in private, given the security matters being discussed.

My own personal theory, not supported by anything by my gut is that Netflix will cancel the deal a few months into the new year. Pure conjecture but I just have a feeling. The shows not about their dirty laundry has flopped, they cancelled Pearl. Before the Invictus netflix show they might have thought anything that H&M themselves were in would be a success.

If I was running Netflix I wouldn't have wanted Harry able to speak badly before this final season of The Crown that features Dianas relationship with Dodi, death, funeral etc. Netflix themselves bought the right to the book (Meet Me At The Lake) that their company will be making so presumably if they end the deal they could give it to someone else.

This is complete conjecture on my part but it wouldn't surprise me at all if they're cut loose

I think that is exactly what the Westminsters want to prevent, and as the wedding isn't until next June the Sussexes not attending will be old news. I wonder what will happen in California on the day?

The Miss Haversham thing sounded dire .

I saw her interview on red carpet being asked about her kids and Christmas and what they liked - they are little people so like little things.

In both cases it's either brilliant - ie she says nothing while filling conversation gap and hasn't described or revealed anything about them thus ensuring their kids privacy behind bland general statements or she doesn't really know them or see them as people yet. I really can't work out which it is.
