The thing is if the palace don’t react, yet again there are no consequences to their actions....

The consequence is that they wull be frozen out, whether private family events or official public events. That invitation to Sandringham will not be forthcoming. They will not have that shot of them walking to church with the King and Queen on Christmas morning to remind people of their royal connections. They will become irrelevant.

I think the freezing out is already happening, in fact. H wasn't invited to the private family dinner at Birkhall after the Queen died. There was no chitchat in the car on the way to the Windsor walkabout with W & C. They are not being given any opportunity to pick up information which they can pass on to 'friends'.

Of course not . It all boils down to them being refused the half in/ half out they wanted .

I don’t know what the answer is, hopefully they will have really dug their own graves now and there won’t be anyway back into the fold.

If they keep doing that though it shows it up even more for the petty shit it is.

I think the only thing that would hurt is the removal of titles .

It would hurt, but I actually think they would love for their titles to be removed. As it would give them something real to whinge about, rather than making shit up. 🤣

I'd hope most of us would want it to be identified, rooted out and dealt with, but that's not so easy when it hangs on vague accusations with no detail or context - however enjoyable making those accusations may be for some

He seems to be taking this all rather personally, which is odd. I didn't realise he had such strong feelings against the P&PofW and I'm now wondering if perhaps he has at some point had a run in with PofW where he ended up in a dog bowl with a broken necklace or something? 😉

On a more serious note, he is going to trip himself up massively if he continues with the blabbing, the veiled threats, the "I know something you don't' and general name calling playground nonsense. He'll end up in court and backed into a corner I reckon he'd sing like a canary.

I have no care for their titles although I do think they should only apply when they're in the UK, but I do object to their place in the LoS.

I seriously hope that William is now not flying or driving with George. You shouldn't have to even think of these things but an accident wiping out the Wales family would be unthinkable given that Harry is right behind them...

If it's true - and surely nobody would blame the family for this at least - I can see he might welcome the chance to have a pop at those he considers most responsible

Add that to the rude comments about Catherine and the racism thing and it seems like he is desperately trying to turn the public against her by any means necessary. The Dutch leak hasn't worked so now he is hinting at the "affair"story, which I have never believed anyway.

At this point I think this about Omid's issues rather than anyone else.

Edward VIII also forced his brother to buy his personal properties in Britain - Sandringham and Balmoral - which it said he very much disliked as he found the countryside boring. George VI paid £300,000, around £26 million adjusted for inflation but in reality worth a lot more given the rise in property prices.

Balmoral and Sandringham are private homes . They were bought by Queen Victoria , Sandringham as a home for Edward VII ( her eldest son) on his marriage and Balmoral as a family home with Prince Albert .

I think this would be very sensible . Calm, clear and professional , I think Charles would go well to focus on professionalising the monarchy making it more of a service and less of a family soap opera

Regards the freezing out I completely agree, I've seen it happen in real life where the bully was frozen out, they wanted a fight but got grey rock instead. It was surprising effective, not so much in the short term but definitely in the long term.

The more extracts I see the more Omid is coming across as really partisan and mean, rather than the writer of a serious, impartial look at monarchy and its future he obviously sees himself as.

Each extract also distances him from Harry and Meghan to my mind. I think he is writing the stuff he maybe thinks they want him to write but forgetting that Harry is actually a member of the family he is being so incredibly unpleasant about.

I am coming round to the theory that we have heard nothing from the Sussexes because they are embarrassed by such a book being written by their cheerleader and have finally learnt that silence makes the story go away faster. I hope the royal family stays silent as well because the less reaction they give the more Omid makes himself look bad in interviews and the less effect his nasty gossip will have.

Harry may not have been involved but Meghan? That's another story. The obsessive focus on Kate, and the details regarding this alleged letter, have to have come from her. The same with 'Finding Freedom'. She was definitely his source for that 'book', with all the gushing praise of how amazing she is.

I am completely lost with all of this. Why would MM write a letter to Charles exposing the 2 racist people when one of them was him. Maybe it is just the way the press have worded it but it sounds strange.

Does anyone know what the reaction to the revealing of the ‘royal racists’ has been in America? From my feed it’s nothing like the aftermath of the Oprah interview, has Gail King come out in support of H&M?

I have just read on X/Twitter that the Duke of Westminster is not invitingly H and M to his wedding even though he ( apparently ) is Archie’s Godfather .
