How did Meghan end up feeling so much hatred towards these people, whose family she was in for all of five minutes? She just seems so vengeful. At some point in the not too distant future their children will become very aware of their parents being no-contact with BOTH sides of the family and that they make their living publicly criticising them. That’s a strange way to live.

it was neither. Mine is pale, blonde with a ginger glow in the sun. So much so their father is trying to deny paternity despite them being identical in baby/child pictures and have strikingly similar face/nose shapes.

I think that is a reason they had three children - so there is more than one 'spare'. Plus they keep strong ties with Kates family to keep the kids more balanced.

As a mixed person with mixed kids, this actually really fucking irritates me. Our kids will look like us. Just like allllll the non mixed kids will look like their parents too.

Why is Meghan Markle being blamed with no evidence whatsoever that she was involved beyond fevered hatred of her? The palace camps all leak like sieves and do nothing but brief against each other, surely everyone must know that by now. As for younger university educated people not being racist (presumably this includes middle-aged as well), the videos of blatant jew hatred in many universities prove that totally wrong.

exactly this! whenever anyone is expecting a baby in our family, there are extensive discussions on whether baby will be boy/girl/fair/dark/tall/short/personality etc. it's a way of expressing excitement and love. obviously mean comments can be made. Kate is so cautious that even if she is racist (which I highly doubt), she is unlikely to say it openly to meghan like that. Charles, I don't know.

Why is everyone believing that (a) OS knows who the two were (if there were two) and (b) that the “leak” in the Netherlands was based on something OS actually wrote?
Soon after the Oprah interview I was talking to someone who is friends with the William and Harry set from when they were running around London in their twenties - they said who they had heard it was (just one person at that point 🤔) and it wasn’t the King or Kate.
And as many PPs have said already it was just idle chit chat as to would the baby have red hair or dark hair.

Meghan thought she would sweep into the fold and be a breath of fresh air to the stuffy royal family and resents the fact her dream did not materialise. She thought she would be equal to Kate in status and popularity and is jealous of Kate because she wasn't. Just my opinion of course and could be wrong. I often am.

Because since her collusion with Scobie over an earlier book - something she had initially denied - was established in court, no-one believes the denials of collaboration this time around.

I thought in the Oprah interview Harry said these conversations happened before she was pregnant? Which does put a different spin on it.

Ok my theory.
When they met Harry told Megan how great Kate is and how much she'll love her, how alike they are. Then when k and m do meet k os reserved and British and m is overly eager and open in that American way, like Jamie on I'm a celebrity comes across weird to British. M is hurt. H is confused. The feud starts. W backs k obviously and h doesn't get it. W is well aware h loves k too but has no sympathy. Thinks m is a gold digger.
