BTW, can anyone explain why he's Harper's Royal reporter when he only seems to have access to or report on Harry and Meghan? It's a bit strange.

The Sussex's PR has been one disaster after another and Scobie's book will inflict the final blow.

Lots of families fall out and make up eventually. The problem here is that H crossed a line and went for the wives. I don't think W will ever forgive him. My dm said some things about her BIL during an argument and my aunt never spoke to her again.

I also think H&M consorting with Scobie, who encouraged online attacks on the children is unforgivable.

No, it certainly wouldn’t @AliceOlive . Absolute denials on this have been issued so if any part of these letters are published in Scobie’s book then I don’t think there is any way back for PH/MM or OS. I’m waiting until tomorrow to see if they really have taken leave of their senses.

Has OS been interviewed about his book? I'd love to see a good interviewer tear him to shreds.

@wordler at the time many objected to Scobie saying the children were to blame for W&K's "late arrival" at the coronation - also to his comments about Louis at the Jubilee Pageant: "I wondered why he was taken out for a while - kids will be kids eh?"

Harmless enough coming from anyone else, except he'd know that his entire MO of trashing anyone except H&M would be catnip to the kind of fans he attracts.
Ironically those same fans often insist (rightly IMO) that kids should be off limits, but apparently this only applies to some kids

I've just read a review with a very serious claim - that Kate knew about Meghan's mental health struggles and did nothing to help her.
That's a strong accusation, and I hope Scobie is prepared to back that one up.

Harry also said something about the Wales kids in Spare. Along the lines that they are not safe, iirc, and some snide remarks about them ending up spare parts like him. And of course, he violated Charlotte's privacy in a big way, talking about her emotions in the dress fitting saga.

Omid is just carrying on their narrative. You see it on here all the time that having invisible kids - who never seem to go out to anything with their parents like normal kids do - is "protecting" them, rather than the Wales kids being publicly seen doing pretty normal stuff with their parents.

Harry wrote that he has his therapist on speed dial. Why was it Catherine's (mum of new born, mother of two other small ones, lots of her own duties and family to attend to) responsibility to look after Meghan's mental health?!

I think if a pregnant woman is suicidal, and confides in her husband, he is duty bound to get her help. Not tell her to dress up because they're going to the Albert Hall.
Then somehow blame the sister in law.

Is all so short sighted especially for the children, there is no guarantee that Charles will live as long as the Queen or want to remain King, once William is crowned he owes Harry, Meghan and their children nothing. Whilst Charles is there then there is the emotional olive branch no matter what is said or done.

Yes that's weird. I'm not close but friendly enough with my SIL. I wouldn't have a clue about her mental health, and it woukd be none of my business. Meghan and Kates relationship is that of husbands brothers wife. Not even husbands sibling. Its nothing to do with her, especially since they clearly don't get on and have nothing in common.

Scobie is also giving details of a conversation between Harry and his father after Spare published. Now, how on earth does he know about that ???

And Meghan was a woman of nearly 40! She's from therapy central, California. Are they really suggesting that she wasn't capable of arranging her own MH help, with the assistance of her husband? Somehow the rest of us mortals manage to get help when we feel the need. I mean, she's either super woman who can conquer the world and everyone is jealous of her great abilities, or she's a poor wounded rabbit in need of a lot of cosseting from everyone, and anyone who doesn't is trying to mortally wound her fragile soul, the meanies. Which is it?

It's not Kate's job to look after the mental health of her sister in law.
