BTW, can anyone explain why he's Harper's Royal reporter when he only seems to have access to or report on Harry and Meghan? It's a bit strange.

I agree! But there were a LOT of people who worked at Heat back in OS' day. It wasn't just writers, there were depts for pictures/production/fashion/page design/TV listings/advertising/marketing/publishing etc etc. Talking a team of almost 100 across the entire company. Constant meetings. So none of you will be able to narrow it down!

Is it really so improbable that two women who were in their 20s 20 years ago, and used to work on a gossip magazine, might now be parents in their 40s who use Mumsnet? I was scrolling, and saw the name of someone I used to work with.

I've read a couple of excerpts of Endgame, and his denial that either of the Sussex's had any input/gave him any information. So please could someone explain how Omid knows what occurred when Harry was alone in the plane on the way to Balmoral? When Harry was alone with the late Queen? How does Omid know that William ignored his calls and that Meghan told him to answer the call from Charles?

Is his denial of the Sussex's input, an admission that he made it up? Or plagiarised Spare? How can he possibly claim to know what Harry or Meghan thought, and also claim that neither of them have told him what they thought?

He really doesn’t seem very bright, does he. It’s either a tissue of fabrication or he’s been fed very personal information from the couple. The same applies to FF. How could he have known where Meghan pissed in the Bush unless she had told him. Just taking one example. Either the three of them are very thick, or they think the readers are.

After the disclosure that he was supplied with information from the Sussexes for FF it's not surprising that people find it hard to believe he wasn't fed info for this book. Especially when it has such a positive spin on them, and negative towards the RF.

Yes, if OS has made all this up/no collaboration as Sussex sources claim, then surely some posters must now dislike him. But they don’t

I think H&M (or their advisers) are distancing themselves from OS as the plan now seems to be a big reunion with the King. Lots of leaked stuff about happy with an invite for Christmas at Sandringham.

I have a suspicion that the Christmas at Sandringham story has been issued by someone in or near to the Sussex camp .
If they are invited - great fodder for a book or interview . If they are not invited - outrageous snub.
Although why they would want to spend Christmas with people who allegedly caused them so much pain is a mystery .

The Christmas Invitation story sounds a lot like the 'invited to King's Birthday/Not invited to King's Birthday stories. i.e. made up to manufacture articles.

He said the same for Finding Freedom and they then had to admit they had colluded. Its embarrassing that he's pulling the same old crap again.

I think Scobie's definition of 'given him info' only counts if direct face to face, mayhe he thinks third party sources equipped with a load of swipes and attacks from Harry don't count.

Scobie and H should set up their own gossip rag, like OK. They seem to like that tabloidesque style of info sharing.

Can you imagine if he went! that'd top everyone's dysfunctional family at Christmas stories. Harry's pinched, puce face glowering over the Christmas pudding. Scobie would have to add a couple of chapters for full pity party points.

I can’t see them going . Harry said he wanted an apology from the RF . If that had been forthcoming, we would have heard from “ sources”.

Initially, I was of the opinion Omid was embellishing or outright making things up for this book, but the disclosure of the call from the unknown number with M telling him to pick up and the call from Eugenie asking him what he knew, all sounds like it came from the Sussex's, one or both of them. I have now changed my opinion and would say they definitely collaborated with OS.

As an aside, Prince William was deemed to be the sexiest bald man of 2023. 🤔
