BTW, can anyone explain why he's Harper's Royal reporter when he only seems to have access to or report on Harry and Meghan? It's a bit strange.

I used to work at the next desk to him. He didn’t look quite like that then.

Oh, your post got me curious and I had a quick google. He's unrecognisable, not just a case of too much Botox and filler, but more like Michael Jackson style changes. I feel a bit sorry for him now - can't imagine a happy person going to such lengths.

He's looking different as he is ageing too as this recent photo shows.

His Dad is Scottish and his Mum Persian.

Poor bloke. As I said before he seems so charming, personable and intelligent in interviews. What on earth has happened to him to do that to his looks and write a gossipy book called 'Endgame'. It's all just so cringeworthy.

I worked with him in 2002/2003, when he was newly graduated, so that sounds about right.

Does he really? That’s very surprising. His Twitter content suggests that he’s rather petty, bitchy and vindictive

I knew him too in his Heat days and when he surfaced as a Royal correspondent I couldn’t believe it was the same person, I had to double check! He was actually a sweet, shy kid back then. But very watchful. If you had a conversation about anything with the editor in the office, you just knew he’d be watching and ear wigging.

I suspect there are a lot of writers on here as this place is a rich source for ideas ! I know a crime writer who is frequently on here < waves>

She isn't a 'crime writer', her books are excellent though.

Also I wasn't talking about legitimate accomplished writers, but gossip columnists and tabloid contributors.

It does make me think of all the posters/posters relations/posters friends who work for the Royals, absolutely loads of them!

When you think about the huge number of staff employed by the RF , it’s not that surprising that posters know people especially if they live near a Royal residence .
