Environmentally friendly sure, but makes them look grabby and entitled again. Makes for a good story though.

Someone mentioned the Tony Blair hand pose/action which lots of politicians adopted - I think of it as the joystick pose when fist is clenched but thumb is on top of fingers and point outwards. I know its beloved of many politicians but one I saw on tv the other day breaking out the double joystick in sync mode just looked like a right dick...

There was a documentary about film clips of the Queen and Sarah Chatto was watching clips of her mother and her aunt and was so sweet and lovely the way she talked about them both.

I think Charlotte looks incredibly like Sarah chatto.

Opinion piece, the writer knows no more than what they've read. Same as us on here 🤷‍♀️

Indeed, an opinion piece.

But one that is actually reasoned, unlike much of the opinions here, where posters have blindly accepted this wild story without question, on the basis that even if this is not true, posters hope it is.

I’ve always struggled with understanding the word grift as associated with them - as far as I’m away grifting is low level fraud but wasn’t sure what they had done that equates to that and certainly this Biden story is not grifting either.

I think it also interesting the choices of words used to describe them especially by people who think they are neutral - for example hustling in the context of learning to walk a red carpet which I’m sure many an actor would object to as describing their actions and hustling in the context of the AIBU/CF exercise. I found it interesting and telling that even in that exercise, Meghan was the one who did the asking - not Harry who has the actual relationship with the Bidens.

As PP says , it is just an opinion. None of us know . But why would they be “ scrambling “ to make travel arrangements? They would have known what time HM’s funeral ended . They were in London so plenty of flight choices . They use private jets regularly so if they were desperate, they could have opted for that . Also, they have staff to do the “ scrambling around “.
Sorry but it is no more believable than any of the other opinion pieces .

Two things to note: firstly the piece in the Mail was written as an established fact not an allegation. Compare the wording here:

with this phrasing later in the same article:

One statement the Mail is very sure of - it’s not qualified at all. The other they are not, so it’s qualified with “it’s believed.”

And secondly Victoria Ward in the Telegraph, who definitely has close Sussex sources (most likely the couple themselves) has said in her article on the matter that “sources close to the couple have not denied it”.
