Environmentally friendly sure, but makes them look grabby and entitled again. Makes for a good story though.

What I noticed was how she consciously placed her hands so that her engagement ring was on obvious display all the time before she was married and then afterwards both rings. She would literally hold her hand up with the ring facing outwards. It just looked so blatantly staged. ‘Look! I’m engaged!’
The bump holding to me was the same thing. ‘Look! I’m pregnant!’ It was so cringeworthy, but obvious Hollywood mannered stuff.

You will be annoyed with my next comment because I am speaking here as a black woman, but the racial dynamics of the Markle family have troubled me from the beginning. It is really, really uncomfortable to see the sense of "ownership" Thomas feels over his daughter. Almost as though he owns her, he made her, she owes him, she would be nothing without him, something he does not say of his white children. It feels very, very off.

I am not at all annoyed. As I said I respect entirely your own views and perceptions around race, and feel like this is something that you as a black woman, would pick up on in a way that others without your experiences might not. As for the gushing tributes on The Tig, that’s something I have often seen with toxic family dynamics - creating the parent you wish they were, rather than the one they actually are, also often there is an element of fear behind that kind of public praise too.

I have a thing for hands so I always notice them - I particularly appreciate a strong but elegant man’s hands - I was always impressed by how Kofi Annan used his lovely hands to great effect in meetings and speeches.
