Kate and Williams children overexposed

It is sad to see the children appearing more and more at public events. Yesterday George and Charlotte appeared at wilmbledon and Charlotte gave a player an official coin. Today the children are all over the press.

A few days ago they appeared at the Royal international Air tattoo.
There has been criticism before on the board at the number of appearances thr children make in public. This was said to be temporary due to the death of Elizabeth and Charles as the new king, but it quite clearly is not true.

The children are being increasingly taken to events where William and Kate are working, to help boost the popularity of the Royal family. The children gain nothing from it. I am sure they would have enjoyed the air tattoo far more without a crowd of photographers taking lots of photos of the children.

It's sad to see the children used in this way. So much for giving them a normal childhood.

I'd say they gain plenty from it.

Living in palaces, best education money can buy, amazing food. Opportunity to attend top sports events and meet interesting and talented people.

It's not like they're accompanying their mother whilst she does her minimum wage cleaning job (which plenty of children do).

Maybe because colours sometimes appear wrong on photos? Or he’s eaten or drunk something red?🙄

William spoke at the launch of Homewards about the importance of what his mother did (in terms of visits to charities for the homeless) and how he would be doing similar for all his DC as they became old enough. Such visits are unlikely to be publicised at the time they happen, though the public may learn about them later (as happened with W&H)

In the meantime, the G, C and often L are getting slightly fewer public appearances than W & H at similar ages, not least because press no longer invited to any holidays or other "see the family" type events. The number of film premiers, sports events, military tattoos and county show- type appearances is also slightly less for current Wales than W&H

Two events a year apart instead of two events a couple of days apart. Very different

Why are you sure?
The Thorpe Park photos were in lots of media because photos of the children were rare.

I'm always surprised when I see pictures of W and H at how completely different they look for brothers, even when really young. I'm not doubting anyone's parentage - I can see both parents in them in different ways, but I've never seen two siblings look so completely different.

George and Charlotte look like really happy children at the tennis, I don't know why anyone would be worried about two children having a day out with their parents, and as others have said; it gets them used to it.

Where is your evidence that the photos I posted were the only public outings for the princes that year?? Was Prince William not at Trooping the Colour the month before, and no doubt a host of other public outings - including a tour to Canada that year.

The point being, you are asserting as fact something you clearly have not bothered to research, and which is wrong.

In 91 William was on the Canada tour as well as other Royal work, it's no different.

Not true. There have been plenty of photos of the boys. The Thorpe park ones are famous because they are great photos showing the Royals doing a non Royal activity, having lots of fun and getting very wet. They are also used as an example of Diana's parenting compared to Charles' who would be less likely to be photographed in such a situation.

To my eyes, Harry has his father’s eyes and nose, but his grandfather Spencer’s jawline, which Diana didn’t have but her brother did.

I would say William looks much more like Diana around the eyes but has the Windsor jaw. His expressions are very like hers too.

They do look very dissimilar, but have inherited characteristics from the same line. All that could change as they get older. My DH has several siblings. At various stages in his life he has looked like all or none of them.

Diana took her sons to Thorpe Park three years in a row in the early 1990s though. In 1993 she even invited a film crew to attend as well. The trips were at Easter and the Princes would attend the Easter services at Windsor with their family the same week.

You clearly just haven’t realised the photos are from different trips (see how they are wearing different clothes in the shots below, for example). And here’s a photo of the Princes at Easter 1993, in the same week.

So no, not rare trips.

I also did a Getty images search for 1992 when Willia and Harry were the same ages approximately as George and Charlotte are now. In that year they appeared as normal at:

They were also papped a lot on the school run, travelling to Balmoral and on skiing holidays. The people who suggest they were rarely seen and only did two events a year are clearly mistaken.

I remember seeing them regularly.

I think Eugenie and Beatrice also look like their parents but a different parent to each other. They share similar features like noses though

William and Harry along with Bea and Eug were hugely over exposed as children. Paps everywhere and to be honest the parents too were happy to have them ‘pose.’ Wales children hardly ever appear anywhere. But at a certain time they have to do more stuff. This is their future. Going to the tennis is a way nice thing to do.

Bea looks like sure but occasionally I see Andrew…his eyes and some mannerisms.

Eug I think is like the Bowes Lyon’s family…she isn’t a Windsor or a Ferguson but Insee her Mum at times too.

Sarah. She looks like Sarah. Very like Sarah’s half sister.

I think Eugenie looks like Andrew, bit has the Queen Mother's jawline.
